Watered-down cocktails on ship?

On our last 2 cruises (both on Princess - Golden and Star) we experienced watered-down drinks. We didn't have this problem on RCI or NCL. Just wondering if that's becoming the norm and if anybody else has noticed this on other ships.

we just finished sailing the golden ..although I didn't think their liquor was watered I did notice unless i specified a short glass .. they would give me this huge hurricane glass for a mixed beverage one shot alcohol to 9 parts mixer... they did frequently asked if we would like doubles.....

True. Hence the great and ever evolving art of smuggling your own on board. Don't ya just luv beating the system.

I've had the problems of watered down drinks on any of the cruise lines I've been on (Celebrity, Carnival, Princess, RCCL). I think one of the keys to getting even stronger drinks than usual is to make one bar your regular spot adn start chatting up the bartenders....works every time for me!

I agree with Lisa also a few bucks can't hurt!
