Hotels in Fort Lauderdale

Hi Folks,

Can anyone tell me of a reasonably priced hotel in the Fort Lauderdale area which provides transportation to the cruise port? This is for January 25th 2008. My wife has been searching sites but either the hotels are reportedly bug infested or way over 240 dollars per night!

James we like the Comfort Suites Airport & Cruise Port they will also shuttle you from the airport to the hotel...their address is 1800 South Federal Hwy, U.S. 1 and 17th Street Causeway, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316

they also offer shuttle don't they.. we have stayed at both.... the one I think your talking about was one of the only hotels open right after one of the big hurricanes it sits right beside a Shoneys

Yes I think you may be right. However when my wife saw it did not have a pool just a 6 person hot tub, she balked!! So I may have to choose another one!!!

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Ft Lauderdale-Airport North twice.

They provide transportation from the airport and to the cruise port no charge. Can't miss their van, it has pink flamingos around the top of it!

We just stayed at the Ramada Inn Airport and they have a shuttle to the port as well. Only problem is there really isn't much around there unless you drive. Great price and clean room. You can leave your car parked there as well.

We've stayed here twice...nice pool area, transportation to/from airport and cruise port, good restaurant...just be sure it's the Ramada Inn airport/cruise port
