elfed
Well it depends really on what ship we are on. Normally all our breakfasts are taken on the Lido deck. We tried the dining room one morning on the Carnival Imagination and was herded to a communal table where nobody spoke-it was awful- never again. Our Lunches always on the Lido deck but dinner 99% of the time is in the assigned dining room. On ships that have alternate dining we take one night there instead of the regular dining room. Regards, James.
zebra
Always check out the dining room menu before making a decision. The offerings have to be really good in order for me to play dress up. That being said we still wound up in the dining room 90% of the time on our last cruise, HAL did not disappoint! I agree - we check on the lunch and dinner menu at the dining room each day.... if it "doesn't turn our wheel" then we'll sashay to the buffet, sushi bar or steakhouse for dinner. hazelson
Dinner in the dining room every night. Breakfast - either dining room or buffet. Lunch in the buffet - as for the other three meals (LOL) the deli, the burgers by the pool or high tea!!!!
lashl
Being on vacation we usually eat both breakfast and dinner in the dining room. I love being wated on and you usually meet some good folks at breakfast. Lunch is pretty much a hit and miss affair. Buffet, sandwich, pizza, or skip the whole thing! MrsAmanda7
I'm with Keith and Rita. We usually don't wake up in time for a traditional breakfast in the morning. Although, that is where I would prefer to eat anyway. Unfortunately, we have to go to the buffet. We also like to have our traditional dining experience with our same waiter every night. We really enjoy the routine and specific time.
