JoeyandDavid
For me its a done deal maybe three days before we travel..... Now we start repacking as soon as we have dirty clothes ..we have found if we stay on top of it... the room stays cleaner and the clothes almost pack themself... rogue
We start the actual packing about a week before we leave, but the piles of clothes we plan to take start much earlier than that. They usually start piling up at least a month before the cruise. As far as repacking, we don't do that until the last day of the cruise. On of the empty suitcases acts as a hamper to keep the room clean. The dirty laundry goes into those bags that you push out all of the air, so they don't take up much room at all. sailingrose
I start to pack the basics about a week out. The carry on gets packed then too. The rest gets packed 3 days before or so. Last morning in go the formals and we're outta here!
TheSkipper
Start to gather stuff together in the guest room about a month out. I'll finish about 24 hours prior to departure. DW will wait until the last night before departure. For the return trip we usually pack the last evening on board. Suitcases are stowed under the bed until then. This reminds me, we are 38 days out, time to start thinking about the packing.
gymbrat33
I always pack the night before and continue the morning of the cruise. I live 30 minutes away from the Port of Miami.
hazelson
We have our "cruising duds" as well - and a couple of drawers for the things we always take like the first aid kit, power strip, duct tape - so it's all ready to go. I like to pack the actual suitcase at least a week out - so I am sure not to forget anything.
