As the end of 2007 approaches quickly, I wanted to put together a collection of the major 2007 news events and stories for CruiseCrazies. Reading this list will really illustrate how far we've come in 2007 alone. Many new features have been introduced, existing features upgraded, old records have been broken and new records set, and we are only getting stronger! I want to thank all of you for helping make CruiseCrazies what it is today, and for continuing to uphold our strong reputation of being the 'friendliest cruise community on the net.'

January 2007:

  • The 1st ever Official CruiseCrazies Get Together Event in Fort Lauderdale, FL
  • New: CruiseCrazies Lapel Pins make their debut and are a huge hit
  • The Members Photo Gallery opens, allowing members to show off photos with their CruiseCrazies Door Hang, Lapel Pin, other CruiseCrazies members, or other logo gear
  • The Recipe Directory makes its debut, allowing members to share recipe favorites
  • CruiseCrazies goes mobile! We are now accessible on most mobile devices (internet usage applies)

February, April 2007:

  • The previous cruise review database did the trick, but it just needed a facelift and some upgrades. That's when the new Cruise Review Directory was introduced, with much more functionality and a much more attractive and easier to use design. This is one of the most popular CruiseCrazies features!
  • In April, we welcomed our newest member as always, and became 3,000 Members Strong!

August 2007:

  • The CruiseCrazies Meeting Hall was completely redesigned, upgraded, and reintroduced in August. The Meeting Hall allows you to post the date of your cruise and easily check back to see if you have any shipmates. If you do, you can communicate directly with them by sending them a private message. This has become a major attraction here at CruiseCrazies.

September 2007:

  • Crazies the CruiseCrazies Mascot became part of our family in September, thanks to cruisetarp. Crazies travels back and forth to members who are kind enough to take her aboard their cruise. We also have a photo gallery dedicated to Crazies and all the ships she sails.
  • The CruiseCrazies homepage went through a major upgrade, providing a much more simple navigation structure, as well as added functionality with useful tools and menus.

October 2007:

  • Authorized CruiseCrazies Travel Agents debuted, and are highly recommended by CruiseCrazies for their competitive rates, friendly and knowledgeable advice, and for making it easy for you, the customer.The Cruise Cam Portal was completely upgraded and enhanced in every way possible, with new web cams including Wedding Cams, Computer Lab Cams, and more web cams than ever before
  • We broke another record in October: The Most Users Ever Online Simultaneously was 186!

November 2007:

We really reached new heights in November, primarily due to 2 major milestones:

  • CruiseCrazies Officially Reaches 250,000+ Messages
  • CruiseCrazies debuts in Cruise Travel magazine, with a full page color advertisement!!

Two new features are already in the works, preparing for their release by the end of December or early January....Stay tuned for more!
