Hi Folks,

Very pleased to tell you that our cruise docs: for the Carnival Miracle on the 26th of Jan: have arrived. Since we were last on Carnival (over 18 months age) their luggage tags have changed. Before they were all the colors of the rainbow and looked terrific attached to our suitcases by elastic ties. Now they are bland dull gray attached by perforations to match the rest of the document info and after tearing them out, one has to staple the ends together once around your suitcase handle. Either that or they have to be taped! Are Carnival too now looking for ways of cutting costs like the other lines. What a shame. I even had a bet with my wife as to what color they would be. Ah well, at least the ship looks colorful enough.

Congrats on the doc James. Did you get the eDocs? We cruised on Carnival 2 months ago and the packet they sent us in the mail had the regular, colorful ones. They didn't send enough so I did have to go online and print more. I printed them on cardstock, then cut along the lines that said do not cut, and folded it over so it was 2 sided and then covered with clear contact paper. I then punched a hole in the top of it and used a rubber band to affix them to our luggage just like the regular tags.
