JoeyandDavid
A little inconvenience is well worth the feeling of being secure. JMHO Jim Not to mention the increase in ease of traveling
lashl
We have traveled with a passport for 11 years now and just renewed ours last year. I feel better leaving the country with a passport than just photo ID. Steve

RNSANE
I'm 63-years-old - I was on my mother's passport when I was 3-years-old and we went to Salzburg, Austria after the war with my dad who was an Army Lt....not long after I got my own passport and I've had my own ever since. Dan
We've had ours since we took our first cruise 12 years ago. Sure, it can be a pain to have to get them, but here in Canada, they are making the process a little easier now. We still have just shy of 3 years left on our current ones. One thing I find annoying (although I shouldn't because it means things are going smooth) is that the US agents don't stamp the thing. This is my third passport, and I've a had a grand total of exactly one stamp in them. The thing looks like I never go anywhere. It would be nice to have something to show off LOL. JohnG
I had to have them when I was in the Navy and stationed in Greece in 1972, and later for middlle east travel. Israel nevers stamped them because if you had an Israeli stamp in your passport you couldn't get a visa to many Arab countries. We got our current ones in 2002 to go to Ireland with the kids. The teens have expired, and I renewed our daughter's as we are cruising in Europe next June for her graduation.
sailinglisa
I've had mine since 2000.........I even use it for domestic travel as it is the easiest and most recognizable form of identifaction there is. I think those of us in the USA were spoiled........for years all you had to have was a photo ID and a birth certificate......personally I think the USA was far too lax in the past! boba
I've got a perfectly good excuse for not having one. I'm lazy and a procrastinator. Joey, thanks for kick in the butt. I'm going to fill out all 6 apps today. I'm cruising in 9 mos., that's plenty of time, right? lol
