Hi Mary Lou & Peggy- Just got home from work, but wanted to check in....

Peggy- Yes, I am very proud of myself because I am going to do the Stingray City excursion. I don't swim very well at all, but I want to go...I may not get off the boat, but at least I will be able to say I was there!!

Mary Lou- hope your cooking went well and your company arrived safely. I know you probably won't be able to post much with your busy w/e, but know we are thinking of you and your family and hope the walk is a HUGE success!!

I have 2 cruising friends in Houston and Bay City. I am terribly worried about them with Ike. Please say prayers that Texans will stay safe!

MaryLou- what happened to the September Dock? It's not there and says moved but doesn't say where it was moved???? Congratulations on your AFT cabin!! I know you really wanted it. What is your cabin number now and I will change my list.

Good morning Martha & Peggy - the Daily Dock is back where it belongs. Just needed to be moved for some problem.

I'm not going to tell you my new cabin number because I don't want anyone to know where I'm hiding. lol - Actually I'm in 9658. It will be a longer walk to our cabin but well worth it I think. We just love the peace & quiet of the AFTs.

Keep checking if you want to move as it seems when we get closer to final payment time people or TA's release cabins they didn't sell or had 2nd thoughts about.

Peggy - if you got in the water with the dolphins you can definately get in with the stingrays. It's an incredible experience. Besides, if the tour Martha is going on is also going snorkeling, they will have live vests and you can wear one of those if it makes you feel better.

Well, my chili is made (it always taste so much better after it sits for a day or so) and I only have a few odds and ends to do today. I expect DS Dave & his family by dinner time but he insisted on taking us out for dinner tonight so no fussing there. Just have to make some glutten-free cupcakes for grandson Colin and I am all done.

Heather & Cait will be arriving late this morning so I'll be going to lunch with them - I'll need that walk tomorrow morning. lol

MaryLou- you can't hide; Peggy and I will find you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So glad you were able to get your AFT. Maybe we will luck out, but I'm not counting on it. Just think, now your balcony will hold all of us!!

Peggy-our excursion does do snorkeling- I haven't done that either. This will be a big first for me. I think I will try it so I can say I've been snorkeling. The site does say the vests are provided. I will certainly be wearing one!

I was checking RCI last night and found the prices had gone down on our Majesty cruise! I emailed out TA and am waiting for him to respond. We may save $120!! I told you; this was all meant to be. Everything for this cruise has worked out perfectly.

Not doing much of anything this weekend. Have to work 4 -12 hrs shifts next week and my friends from England arrive on Sunday the 21st, while I'm working so my days off will be busy.

All I want to do is get out of my closet - I have only had an inside 1x before and I hated it - I am hoping I can find someone else to go with me so I can upgrade.

Are you guys still sure you want to go on a tour with them?? they better be nice to my friend Marylou and my new friend Martha or else

I would love to see the stingrays but I will not get out of the boat I know me - when I went to see the Dolphins you just stood on a platform that was waistdeep and the dolphins came to you - and someone held on to me because I was scared then - but it was amazing I loved it. As far as snorkeling goes - forgot that LOL.

I was having a problem with the RCCL site everytime I went into it I got a site that looked just like RCCL but actually was a TA in Singapore it was very weird I deleted all my cookies and did a virus scan and now it seems to be gone - so there site was 100.00 cheaper than Royal.

My TA said RCCL is having a big sale on Tues. so we I will check to see if the prices go down.

Today is Nick's soccer game and he is sick - one week back to school and he has a cold - always happens.

Hi- actually I' ve gotten a new attitude. I am virtually going to ignore them unless they verbally attack me again. I refuse to bow to their commands on the other place. I will talk dribble and will have fun with my new cruising friends!!

Peggy- actually, I am looking to get cabin 9092 with the large balcony. If y'all see it open up, please let me know.

Haven't heard from my TA!! This is why I dislike doing business with a TA! I really like the agency, but I emailed him last night and called this am and left a voicemail, but he hasn't gotten back to me. I wonder how long the price reduction will last. I'm afraid to look!!

We are on a very fixed income-( imagine that; nurses don't make much money!! ). That reduction will go a long way with us.

Peggy- thanks for letting me know about the sale on Tues.; hadn't heard about it.

Peggy - We had afts on both the Voyager & Explorer as well as the Grandeur. On the Voyager cruise you all came to our cabin for champagne to celebrate Angela & Mike's Anniversary.

I hope you find someone to go with you so you can upgrade. Keep watching for price drops on OV's also.

Have left 2 messages and sent an email, but haven't heard from our TA!

I can understand not working on your days off, but I do believe they should have someone on call for these type of things. They could check voicemails and/or emails even once a day. We will have to have a discussion with them on Monday. Do you think I'm out of line?? I sure hope the price decrease lasts until then.

MaryLou- how's things going with the company and walk preparations?

Good morning friends - this will be short - have a crowd to feed before we leave at 8AM. but I'll be back to report on the big walk later tonight.

Martha - why not print out the page from RC's board showing the rate change just in case it doesn't last for very long. You have every right to be angry at your TA - We lost a discount several years ago because our TA wouldn't get back to us and they lost a very loyal customer over that and I began booking directly with the cruise line. This way if I miss a rate change it is my own fault.
