Marylou - Take it easy today and do like Martha says drink plenty of fluids. Good luck with the walk.

My TA is always very nice to me but he always seems to hire these women that are nasty - she was very nasty to me the other day - and then when he came into the office all of a sudden she got nice. Then she called me back all nice a friendly - he must have said something - and I was not very nice to her.

I am waiting for Tues to see if there is a price reduction since obviously I had something crazy going on the other day.

I didn't come for the champagne for Angela & Mikes anniversary - but I was in the cabin with you and Jim - it was just Elaine & I. I don't know where we were for the celebration??

Martha - I am so proud of you for saying that you will talk dribble with your new cruise friends LOL LOL - Yeah I am on your side. I will keep an eye on your aft cabin for you.

It is so hot here today I guess it will be hot till Wed. and then cool off -

I was reading that it will be in the high 80's with 90% humidity in Costa Rica - that's going to be hot - whew. Make sure we bring plently of water with us.

I went to a party last night with my friend Linda - they had a band with a girl singing - she tried out for American Idol - she was pretty good -

Nothing much going on today Nick is sick last night he had 101 and today he is coughing and sneezing typical back to school stuff.

Peggy- sorry to hear Nick is sick. We are babysitting the girls while Mom & Dad are at the football game. Good thing we have no life!!!

JUST 12 WEEKS TO GO

Martha & Peggy - Well we survived the walk - boy it was awfully hot. Today we meet at the bank at 9AM to begin adding up the envelopes and see how successful it was . We had close to 2000 brave souls who braved the heat.

Peggy - hope Nicholas is better today. Sounds like you might need a new TA or a serious talk with the owner. You shouldn't have to take any nonsense from them if they are getting a commission to go something you could very well do yourself directly with the cruiseline.

Martha - Same to you - I hope you hear something from your TA and they honor the price cut. Even if 9092 opens up and your TA won't answer your calls you could lose it.

Well time to get moving - left the house so quickly yesterday morning it looks like a tornado hit this place and I definately can't go out to the bank and leave it like this.

If this is an all day affair (and I pray that it isn't) I'll check back tonight. If not, I'll be back this afternoon.

MaryLou- glad to hear your walk went well. Here's hoping you find out it was a huge success after counting the money!!

We still never heard back from our TA- I am very disappointed since we has interviewed this one before booking with them. They just started being closed on Saturdays, but anytime I had something come up, I would email him and he responded promptly. This is a first and better be last or we will just do our own bookings!

Today we have some errands and an appt to get fitted for contacts.

Hi Marylou & Martha-I have a stupid question, how do you type a reply on this board without having to delete the previous post - if I hit reply on the bottom I have to delete the post?

Marylou - Hope the heartwalk was a huge success - I can't believe you had 2000 people that was wonderful - it was so hot I was thinking about you.

I can't believe it is only 12 more weeks till we cruise - I think this is a good idea booking late as the wait is not as long.

Martha - Good luck with your contacts today - I had cataract surgery last Nov. and now I do not need glasses I am so happy about that - but I do need glasses to drive at night for my other eye

This TA's are being a pain in the you know what I am thinking from now on just booking with the cruise lines.

We got our price reduction for the Majesty!!! We just saved $120. We have the lowest category booked. We really wanted to make Diamond before the PC cruise, but just cannot do it. So we will be diamond when we get off.

There has been so much talk of C&A tier changes, really wanted it to happen before Jan. 1. We were honest about it. They had credited us with 2 cruises we didn't take. Took several emails and phone calls, but we got them deducted. Didn't want to take advantage of the system. Wish the upgrade fairy would visit on the Majesty, though, so we could be Diamond on the Jewel!

Peggy- I hit add reply and the typing screen opens up. I type in that then hit add reply and it's there!

Hi - back home after an utterly frustrating morning. We had to go into Bethlehem (which we are not familiar with) and meet at the bank at 9AM. We finally found the place and pulled into their parking lot at 8:59 - went inside and asked the receptionist where the heart association was meeting. She looked puzzled and asked why we wanted to know. I told her we were there to count money from the walk and she informed me "Oh we (the bank employees) counted that all afternoon yesterday and it is done." Didn't Kimberly call you.

I made her call the heart association contact and she came over to the bank, apologized and said she left us a message we wouldn't have to come in since they got unexpected help yesterday. Went home and checked my phone and she sure did call - at 8:58 AM this morning- a full 2 minutes before we were supposed to meet. GRRRRRRR!!

Martha - glad you got the $120 back - good for you.

Peggy - don't take any nonsense from your TA - keep after them. I just hit the reply button also Peggy and the typing screen appears. If you want to read the previous posts just scroll down from the blank typing screen.
