MaryLou- how do you find what cabins are available? Do you just do a pretend booking on RCI? That's what I have been checking, but nothing much seems to change. Wondered how you found your aft.

Hi Martha - I check the same way you do - by making a pretend booking. I do check everytime I get on the computer and checked that morning around 5:30 and there were no changes. Then I checked again around 7AM and the aft was there. So I was on the phone the minute they opened up.

I keep checking for 9256 but seriously doubt it will open up. It is one of the prime aft balconies available.

So far the storm hasn't amounted to much but it is just now getting quite windy so we will see what happens. Talk to you in the morning

Hi- I just found our Majesty cruise went down another $60!!!! Wohooo!!! We have saved $180 since we booked!! We are in the bowels of the ship in the smallest room they have, but who cares!! The ocean looks the same once you are on deck!!!!!

Good morning girls - how is everyone this morning?

Peggy - sounds like a fun day shopping? I was in Macy's on Monday but left after I got tired listening to Christmas Carols while I was shopping. Can they begin any earlier?????? Peggy, right now it looks like it would cost about $300 for you to upgrade to an OV but keep checking. Hope you find someone to go with you. What about Richie - I thought you said he might be interested/

Today I am heading back to Penny's - finally broke down and bought some new under garments and the security tag is still on one of the bras. So much for their security system. Several years ago we bought Jim a new tuxedo in Penny's in SI. We were doing a lot of other mall shopping so eventually went through every entrance to that store with nothing going off. We were getting dressed for formal night on a cruise in the middle of the ocean when we saw the security tag hanging from his jacket.. Went down to Guest Relations deck and they had to call maintenance, but they did get it off.

Martha - hope you aren't working too hard. Keep checking for those price drops. Jim is always saying "what the heck are you doing on the computer again." He sure shut up fast when I saved $1000 on our cruise though during a 1 day price drop & senior special combined.

Off to see Ashleigh before she gets on the school bus. Our little princess turns 6 today.

MaryLou- I know what you mean about the computer. Lee says I am always on it, but sure smiles and jumps up when I tell him I think I saved him $$$! You should have seen him scrambling to get his DD214 out for the latest reduction.

Please tell Ashleigh that your new cruising friends wish her a very Happy Birthday!! They grow so fast, don't they?

Our Ashley learned to do somersaults. She was practicing and asked Poppa to do one. "Poppa" replied he had booboo's on his knees (bilateral knee replacements) and couldn't do them. She looked at him very seriously and shook her head yes. Said," you're too old, Poppa!" and smiled!!

Peggy- hope you find someone to travel with so you don't have to pay so much.

Martha - I hope I can find someone to go with me - I am almost paying for 2 people anyway minus the taxes and fuel surcharge I offered a friend of mine and told her I would pay what I am paying and it would only cost her about 500.00 but she said no I HATE CRUISING.

Marylou - There was no Xmas music in Macys here - or maybe I was not paying attention LOL.

I may go back again today with Bridget she wants to shop the sales.

Hi again. Ashleigh really doesn't look any different today - but said she just "feels" older. lol

I was just catching up you know where and I am laughing so hard: In post 744 down where the cabin crawl is listed he writes:

iT'S CERTAINLY NOT OFFICIAL BUT MARYlOU & JIM SEEM TO SHOW INTEREST IN ORGANIZING THE CABIN CRAWL.

I wasn't aware that I needed permission to list the cabins like I did. I'm so bad!! I think it is hysterical.

Between Martha posting the "unofficial" roster and me with the cabin crawl we will have to find something for Peggy to do to get her in trouble.
