good morning Peggy & Martha - not much time to chat right now - have to go get Ashleigh up, dressed and on the bus by 7AM as Deb has to leave by 6AM to get TJ down to Philly for his 8:30 appointment.

Hi Martha & Marylou

It is freezing here today LOL or I think it is - I think it was 49 or something last night.

Marylou - Your having a busy morning - I will be having a busy night - Lisa is working and won't be home till 9PM - so I will be doing the homework and shower not that I have to help him shower he is 10 now but I have to yell for at least 20 mins to get him to do it. 5 more mins that's what he says over and over LOL

Hey, guess what, I got an email from Elaine about a RCCL trip to Alaska - so I wrote back and said hope she didn't mean to send it to me by accident and it meant that she wanted to talk - 17 years is a long time. Anyway she wrote back - call me tonight - so wish me luck hope we can resolve everything - I do miss her and we had a lot of fun cruising together.

Martha - Where are you hiding today - I thought you had the day off - Oh I meant to tell you both that I met a nice man who likes cruising - maybe someday we can go on a cruise together - I would have to know him really well and make sure he didn't snore LOL LOL. so we will see what happens.

Hi MaryLou & Peggy-

I'm here; just didn't have a good night and was up and down so I'm really tired. Still drinking my coffee.

MaryLou- do TJ and Ashleigh live really close? I wish we lived closer to our granddgtrs. Lee gets to babysit 3 days a week, but I only see them maybe every 2 weeks. Really miss them in between. Hope TJ has a good report!!

Peggy- don't know who Elaine is, but I am glad you are getting back in touch. As far as meeting a man who likes to cruise, I already like him!!

Not much going on with the trip. I haven't found any more cabins available. Haven't even found any Christmas decorations to bring.

Have to work F/S/S and then next week start my second job, so think I will lay low today.

Haven't even put in my contacts.

Back from my shopping and waiting to go pick up Ash at noon.

Martha - enjoy your day off. My 2 oldest grandkids live in Ridgefield, Ct. which is 2 1/2 hours away from us so I don't get to see them all that often. My 2 youngest grandkids live a little over 1 mile away from us so we see them nearly every day.

Peggy - How great that Elaine made a move toward you two starting to talk again. I hope things work out with your call and you can begin to rebuild your friendship. I know you have missed her and you always had fun cruising together. Maybe she will do the PC with you?????? OK Peggy, fess up - who is this new man who likes to cruise?

Need to go get something to eat before I go for Ash. I'll be back later.

Hi Marylou - I am calling Elaine tonight so I will let you know how things work out.

The new man seems nice I don't know him very well - he took over a job for someone that Rich & I know - he is a site manager/construction boss - I think he is 60 or so - he has worked for the company for a long time and took over this job last minute as the guy who was running it moved it NC. (Martha) not sure where though. So we will see what happens with that.

How did TJ make out today at the Docs?? Hope everything is okay.

The tour that Dennis mentioned in Panama doesn't sound too bad - maybe I will go on that one - I really want to get off the ship there - since I am not getting off in Grand Cayman.

Good morning girls -

Brrr! someone turned the cold weather on outside and I had to turn the heat on during the night. The bedroom is not nice and toasty but I went into the kitchen to make a cup of tea and it's darn cool in there.

Peggy - what happened last night with Elaine? Inquiring minds want to know - Oh, heck, I'm just nosey. I hope you had a good talk and straightened some things out.

Martha - can you imagine booking a second cruise with them? Wouldn't it be funny if they turned out to be really nice and we enjoyed spending time with them?

Our cruise prices seem to be jumping all over the place. Although I think it's doubtful, we just may get another price break prior to sailing. I know RC had a big sale yesterday - maybe they didn't book as many cruises as they thought. People are kind of afraid to spend too much money right about now.

Time to go turn on the heat in the bathroom or I'll never be able to get into the shower in there. All that tile makes it seem even colder.

Peggy- hope things went well with Elaine last pm. I admire your courage to call her and hopefully, straighten out your friendship. Wishing you the best....

MaryLou- yeah, it turned chilly here, also. Haven't got the heat on yet, thank goodness!! Just turned off the air conditioner.

I can't wait to meet our "friends". Some people are completely different in person than when posting. Things come across so differently when not face to face.

You guys, though; I feel like I know you both!!

Have to work all w/e so you may not "see" me until Monday. Don't know how tired I will be. I got some sleep last night. I knew if I watched the debate I would fall asleep!!!

Have a great w/e!! We'll be down to single digits for the cruise by then!!!!
