Well, we went out today and bought a portable IPOD speaker and a garden flag that we are going to hang on our cabin door. It is very tropical and says Somewhere......Some Beach, and has a Adirondack chair in some sand with the water, a parrot and some hibiscus. We are also bringing our 5 o'clock somewhere flag to hang off our balcony. We are still planning to bring some lights for the balcony and our Christmas tree. Went looking today, but couldn't find one.

Can you tell I'm excited??

Also, took out formal wear and hung it in the bedroom, so I guess that means we have started to pack!!??

I keep telling myself if I get thru October, I have it made!! (Myself is not believing it!)

We may order our new glasses tomorrow....not sure. I have an eye plan and Lee for sure is getting new sunglasses and maybe I will, depending on cost.

What are you wearing on embarkation?

Martha - you are too funny! I don't know what I'm going to wear tomorrow. Thinking ahead to December could seriously strain my brain.

Actually I started pulling things out today but got too confused and put it all back. We have company coming at the end of the month and after they leave the computer/guest room will be turned into our packing area. I'm trying to pack separately for each leg of our trip so we don't have to drag all the luggage into the hotel each night. Plus next Friday we are going to Connecticut to stay at our son's house with our grandkids when Dave & Kathy sail to Bermuda on the Explorer for their 10th anniversary and I have to pack for that also.

I did start getting all the little things together (rain ponchos - power strip - hi-liters - post it notes - our smiley sun flag for the balcony etc) and started working on a day by day packing list. So I'm moving in the right direction. Made quite a few door signs and now that we are all the way in the back no one will see them..boo hoo.

Tomorrow we have to watch the kids so nothing will get done so I'd better go get my bed quilt out of the washer and put it in the dryer. Why do I start these projects???

Guess Peggy is still counting her money from her garage sale.

Talk to you tomorrow

good morning friends. Nothing new to report since last night. Will be watching Ashleigh & TJ today so I can't wait to hear about their big night last night. They looked so cute going out all dressed up and Ash was busy practicing dancing with her Daddy before they left. I'm going to try to post a picture once I get them downloaded so I'll let you know if it works.

Peggy - are you still counting that money.

Have a fun day.

Just posted a picture from last night over in the General discussion forums under Heart Association Gala.

Hi MaryLou and Peggy-

Peggy- are you STILL counting your money??? If so, I want you to come and do a garage sale for me!! I never seem to make much!

MaryLou- your pictures are wonderful. What a nice looking family you have! I hope the heart association made lots of money last night. Deb's dress is gorgeous and Ashleigh's little doll looked just like her. TJ seems like he's "full of the devil." Is he? My Ashley is, to be sure!! Aubrey is the baby and she likes to cuddle and is very nuturing. Isn't it amazing how different each one is with their own personality?

Well girls, I really want to start packing, but couldn't stand myself if I did it this early. Instead, I think we will try to get more Christmas shopping done.

Have fun babysitting and will check in later. Maybe Peggy will have finished counting by then!!!

Hi Marylou & Martha

LOL LOL you guys are funny - I wish I was counting my money but it was not all that busy yesterday and we only made $100.00 and Nicholas made 1/2 of that because he sold more stuff than anyone - but last night we packed everything up and are donating it to the Salvation Army - I am not bringing it back in the house.

Today, I drove Lisa to work and then Elaine came over and we did some shopping and then had to pick Lisa up at work and we stopped and shopped on the way home a little more I got a nice pair of Ked's like a slip on sneaker for only 12.00 at least they will be clean and new.

Marylou - I have not checked the other site yet to see the pictures but I will after I post this - like Martha says you must be proud of your daughter - I guess big mouths pay off LOL LOL - my daughter she has a big mouth. Oh and btw I meant to tell Danbury is 1 hr. from me straight up 84 is that the way you go>???? I think I told you but maybe not right now I have no car - my son had 3 cars and I was driving one of them (I sold my car) but not he sold all of them and bought a new one. He is looking for a second car and will give that to me but he has not found one yet - it is a long story I will tell you on a nice sea day LOL.

Martha - I hope you feel all better today sorry you were sick -

I posted on the other board - and said that I think Elaine is coming with me on this cruise she will let me know in a few days - I hope she does come - we always seem to get along on cruises

I am still tired from Sat. last night I slept 10 hrs but still exhausted - too much work and not enough money.

Talk to you tomorrow.

Peggy

Hi Peggy- I'm sorry you did not make as much as you wanted on the garage sale. That's my story, too. I'm so glad Elaine may be able to go with you on the cruise. It's good that you are friendly again.

Did you see all the dribble that's been going on that thread??? Have to do something to make the time go by.....

Go get some rest and we'll "talk" tomorrow!

Martha

OK Peggy we'll call off the search party now. Sorry you didn't make a bundle but every little bit helps. Sorry you dont' have a car - it would have been fun to get together for lunch. We take 287 into the NY Thruway up to (something or other) over the Newburg Beacon bridge and then 84 up to Dave's. He's at Ct. Exit 1 -

Hopefully Elaine will be able to go with you on the cruise. That would be fun. Would you upgrade from an interior to an OV if she were with you to share the cost? Keep us posted.

Time for the Amazing Race - be back tomorrow.
