Good morning Peggy & Martha - Slowly but surely, we are getting there.

Peggy - can't wait to see you again. When are you actually coming to Miami - the morning of the cruise or before? It looks like we might be meeting Brenda & Don on the 7th in Miami if you would want to see them again. Brenda won't be sure for a couple more weeks but they were thinking of coming into Miami on Saturday and staying over til Sunday.

Martha - I can't wait to meet you and Lee. I feel like we are friends already. This is how Peggy & I met and we have been friends every since.

Time to go thru another bucket of clothes and get them washed. Did I tell you how much I HATE this job. lol

Good morning!!

I couldn't sleep last night and was tossing and turning until after 2 then woke up at 7:30. Ugh, and I have a lot to do today.

I will be working the next 9 days straight so don't know how much I will be able to check in; it's not that I don't want to, believe me, I will just be very busy. Please don't forget about me!!!

I told Lee I will meet him again Nov. 1, but he volunteers for the election and is in charge of a voting area, so he will be busy until Nov. 4. We will really need to cruise by then!!

Marylou - I remember seeing that Brenda & Don were coming to meet you I would love to see them but I will be in Fl. on the 7th however I will be in Fort Lauderdale I am staying overnight with the people from my Brillance 2004 cruise - otherwise I would come to Miami

Maybe, I could meet you on the way home in Newburgh since you go over the bridge to the Thruway that is only about 20 mins from me and Lisa would let me take her car if she was not working or I could drive her to work and go that way we could at least have coffee and maybe lunch if it works out.

Oh and now Elaine, if she comes, wants me to change to early seating she likes having the same waiter every night and she won't upgrade to OV - I am hoping for an OV sale or something LOL but

whatever happens, happens I still would like to eat in the specialty restaurant with you and Jim if that's okay and I am still going to try and talk her into MYTime.

Martha - You poor thing - your working too hard - sometimes when I am overtired I can't sleep -

I hope you get to see Lee soon LOL LOL.

A lot of dribble is going on over at the other boards but they seem to be handling it well - and besides what else are you supposed to talk about it is nice to find out some things about the people you will be cruising with, especially the Dodger fans LOL LOL.

MaryLou- Don't know how to reply to PM, but that is fine!!

What a morning!! son's car on the blink and trying to help him get it resolved. Lee's truck has been in the shop since Fri. Took it to AAA Automotive; big mistake!!! Finally called them again mid morning and they said, oh yeah, we have the paperwork right here; can't fix it- it's electrical and we don't do that. Called around and finally found someone who does electrical; went to AAA to pick up truck to drive it to next place and they say they locked the key in the truck!!!

Luckily, I had a spare key and we dropped it off at the new place. We then had to drive downtown to find where I will be giving shots on Thurs!!!!! In between, had to pack up supplies for the shots.

I can finally take a deep breath!!

I'm hungry; I'm going to get a quick bite.

Continuing saga: Took it to the auto repair place my family uses and already picked it up! They said they had to replace 9 feet of wiring and charged us only $100 and it actually runs and the lights work!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!

Still waiting to hear about son's car...........

Okay- I just made my precruise mani/pedi for Dec. 1. I can check that off. My calendar looks atrocious for the next 2 months. Maybe I better not look anymore!!

Terrific news about Lees truck Martha. I'm glad you got it fixed and it didn't cost too much. Got my new ceiling fan up and running this afternoon and Jim didn't electrocute himself - always a good thing. All lights are back on and working.

Peggy - depending on when we leave Davids, maybe we can hook up. I'm not sure if we will leave as soon as they get back on Thursday or wait until Friday morning to head up. I'll talk to you when the time gets closer.

Of course you are still welcome to join us in Portofinos or Chops. We plan on doing one early in the trip and the other towards the end. We'll make plans as soon as we get on board.

Back to the laundry - there is no end to this.

Good morning girls. Lots of errands to do today so I'll be in and out most of the day.

Peggy - are you still planning on taking the train even if Elaine goes or will she drive to Fl? When will she know for sure if she can go.

Was supposed to go for blood work this morning for my annual physical at the end of the month but sat here drinking a nice hot cup of tea before it dawned on me that I had to fast for 24 hours. Oh well, there's always tomorrow.

Martha - I wish I could make an appointment for a pedi for our cruise. I have had 2 pedi in my entire life and they were torture. I cannot stand having anyone touch my feet. So I have my manicure done and then come home and do the best I can with my feet. lol

Time to get moving - I'll be back later.

Hi Marylou - Let me know - Lisa said if you have lunch at Danbury Mall and Nick is in school she would drive up there with me - but we will she what happens

I will still be taking the train down - although Elaine may fly - I am not sure - she still has not given me an answer - the train is pretty full on the way back so she better make up her mind if she is going.

Martha - What a mess with the truck - sometimes I am gald that right now I don't have a car LOL but of course I really need one -

Nothing much going on around here I get to relax most of the day today and then Nick will be home from school and that will be the end of that.
