Hi MaryLou-

I'm sorry you are still having pain; thought things might be settling down some. Glad you are at least getting some sleep.

I am sending you an email from Lee Miles. I am also trying to find his web site. I know I have it; just don't know where, but I'm looking!

I already added Vicki and Bob to the list for Cartagena. We will need to hold it there unless we get 12 people, otherwise the price goes up if we have between 9-11.

Thanks for the link Martha - I'll go take a look. Any big plans for the weekend? Nothing special planned here, Jim has to work Sat. morning and after that we will see what we want to do. It looks like we are picking up 2 more for Lee Miles. Hope we get a couple more than that before December as with 10 the tour is getting pretty expensive.

Whew! Glad the weekend is over! Everyone bringing their child to us and wanting them better by today for the first day of school! Also, never saw so many broken toes before!!

How are you doing?

I don't think anything is new on my end. Going to an eye dr. appt. this pm. Want to ask about the bifocal contacts.

Good morning Martha - good luck with the eye Dr. today. I am off to my Dr. to see if maybe this time she can find something to help me.

14 weeks to go and this week we will break thru the 100 day mark. Is it too early to begin packing yet? lol

Sorry you had a busy weekend - do you work in an ER?

I'll be back later - having company tonight so I have to get to the grocery store and run the vaccuum around the house.

I just looked at the countdown clock and am excited we will finally be in double digits this week. Our cruising friends from England are visiting us Sept. 20 for 2-3 days. After they leave we will be using that spare bedroom for our cruise packing. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Martha - how are you this morning. Nothing new here - Dr. is still playing games with my meds - has increased one of them and added another and finally decided if this doesn't work after 2 weeks perhaps I should see a neurologist.

How did it go at the eye Dr. yesterday?

Had fun with our company last night and naturally stayed up too late so I think it is time to make some noise and get my revenge by waking them up. Today is their last "free" day as they go back to college tomorrow. I raised these girls so they are like a second family to me.

Hi Mary Lou-

Good report at the eye Dr. My mother has something called Fuchs dystrophy....a genetic eye condition that will eventually cause her to go blind if she does not get a corneal transplant. Her sister has it, also and had the transplants. Then, my sister has glaucoma so I dutifully have eye checkups. To add to that, I can't see worth a darn. Good news! I must have gotten all the good genes as everything checked out okay.

I am going to try contacts. Used to wear them.

Sorry to hear you are still having so much trouble with the shingles pain. I have heard it lingers sometimes. :sad2:
