Hi- quick check in as I am really tired and hungry.

MaryLou- my son played soccer and we loved going to watch. I bet that was fun! I'm glad he is feeling better. It sounds like you are really enjoying yourselves with the kids. I'm with Jim; no decaf anything for me!!!

Peggy- my cruise documents for the last cruise I was on said 2 formal nights for an 11 night cruise, so that is what I am bringing!! What is Charlie Brown's?

Have to go; my stomach is grumbling.

Hello friends. A few minutes of peace and quiet before our day begins - all went well yesterday - we will see what today brings. Dave called just before the ship sailed and they were amazed at the sheer size of the Explorer and loved their Grand Suite. I told them that once 5PM came along and they sailed I wouldn't answer any more of their calls til Thursday when they got off the ship. I gently reminded them that I did raise 2 children back in the "dark ages" but things haven't changed all that much and I thought we would somehow manage to survive without them. lol

Peggy - sounds like you had your hands full with Nicholas and his friend. I hope they didn't tire you out too much.

Martha - you made it thru another day and you are 1 day closer to boarding the Majesty. YEAH!

I hear the pitter patter of little feet upstairs so I'd better let Colin know that I am up and down here waiting to see his smiling little face.

Good Morning Marylou & Martha

Marylou - Monday would still be a great day for lunch I will be looking forward to hearing from you - we could meet at the Mall and then think of somewhere for lunch - we have to be back by 3:30 and it takes approx. an hour and fifteen mins. to get there. Lisa wants to stop in Beacon on the way up to check on something for her car so we can meet early or a little after 12 it's up to you.

Now I remember how to register for the M&M - I did register myself a while ago but for some reason like I said I had brain freeze LOL or maybe its old age????

Martha - Charlie Browns is sort of a steak house chain - they usually have good prime rib. Don't they have any in NC.

I told elaine it was 2 formal nights and i think one smart casual - so I am just bring one gown and lots of dressy tops with black pants -

I think we are going to try and take Metro North (the local train to the city) and we will get on Amtrak in Penn Station so I have to limit my suitcases if I do it that way.

Nicks friend is still here - but now my daughter is here too so I am relaxing - she has to go to work at 3 but by that time he will have gone home.

7 WEEKS TIL WE BOARD THE JEWEL

Just a quick note before I get the kids up and movng. Had a very long night last night with both of them deciding they wanted their Mom & Dad. Looking forward to some down time today.

Peggy - I'll meet you at the Carousel at Noon. Looking forward to lunch. Martha - want to come and join us? I know it's a bit of a trip for you but with the hours you have been putting in it should be a snap.

Hi MaryLou & Peggy- Sure, I would love to join you for lunch; I'll be right there!! I don't think I eat or sleep anyway, driving 8 hrs. wouldn't make a difference!!

Glad to hear things are going pretty well, MaryLou. When will you be back home? Next Monday??

Peggy- I saw your post about Quest. We have participated several times, not sure if we will participate or just watch this time. Last time got a little rough. Never heard of Charlie Brown's so I don't think they are in NC. Guess we are neglected!!

Hi Martha - good to see you had a few minutes to post. How are you holding up? Dave & Kathy will be back on Thursday so we will head for home either Thursday night or Friday morning.

Sounds like you and Peggy had a good time at lunch! Sorry I missed you; I drove up just as you were leaving!!

I think it has really hit me today. I am exhausted. Was supposed to be working from 6:30-9 today. Didn't get home until about 12:15- Tomorrow I will be working from 7:30-3:30. I work Wed. at my urgent care (12 hrs) then I am off Thurs!!!!! They emailed me last night asking me to work Thurs., but I told them I just couldn't. I feel badly turning down the money, but I just don't think I could do it.

7 weeks is not a very long time; especially since we are leaving Dec. 2. I guess I will need to start figuring out what to bring.

The new couple from England sound very nice. I am really starting to get excited to meet y'all in person!!

Hi Marylou & Martha

It was great to see you and Jim and Lisa had a good time - I really liked that Coach Bag (the black one) now you really have to work on finding the nearly dead rich man LOL

We actually, just made it home about 15 mins before Nick - there was a lane closed on 84 by Newburgh where they are working on the new Thruway connection so it took longer than we thought. Also we stopped for gas.

Now that I have seen the two of you I really can't wait for the cruise

Martha - Was that you driving really fast pulling into the mall LOL we should have waited for you.

You are working much too much - by the time the cruise rolls around you will be in the cabin sleeping all the time.

I told Marylou I would be sleeping in their cabin one night and yours another night because Elaine snores really loud - Maybe I can sleep on the deck

Yeah- that was me!! Didn't you see the red hair flying in the breeze?? I tried waving you down, but nobody but that nice policeman saw me; don't worry- he couldn't catch me!!

Can you get some ear plugs or something? We can make up a bed for you out by the pool; that way, you don't need to worry about chairhogs!
