Peggy - I know you asked about the Murder Mystery dinner in Portofinos. It is on December 11th at 7PM (that's the day we are in Aruba) and you can make reservations now. We really have no interest in going to that. Just go to your reservation page and you should be able to book it if you want it.

Martha - do you and Lee have any interest?

Hi MaryLou and Peggy- Have to share good news-

Cost of my Majesty cruise went down again-We paid $129 pp for the Q inside, and it dropped to $119. BUT, we just upgraded to outside oceanview on deck 8 (category I) for $139 pp!! And, we got the room we wanted!

Pretty good day, so far!!

Great news Martha -- more spending money for the Panama Canal. You have gotten a couple of nice reductions on that cruise. If our Miami hotel wasn't non refundable we just might be tempted to join you but we pre-paid for 2 nights in Miami thru priceline.

We are home - the house is so cold but we will crank up the heat and go out and get something to eat. It should be nice and toasty warm by the time we get back. We should have thought to call ahead and had our son-in-law stop by on his way to work and turn up the heat.

Hi MaryLou- Did Dave and his wife have a good trip? Did they enjoy themselves? I bet the kids were excited to have them home! How are Ashleigh and TJ? Have you had a chance to talk with them? Hope your home warms up fast!

It would have been great to have you on the Majesty; maybe next time!

Peggy- Did you get your shopping done?

I hope your friend's biopsy goes well. My mother is a 4 yr. survivor!! She is 85 and doing quite well. Had her checkup yesterday.

Lee is helping at early vote so I've been alone today. At least I've gotten some rest.

Have a good evening.

TGIF - sure glad this week is over and it was so nice to sleep in my own bed last night.

Ash & TJ were very excited to see us when we got home. We stopped by hoping to take them out to dinner with us but Deb was taking them to a friends for Pizza. Maybe tonight. Fortunately my house warms up very very fast and was nice and toasty warm by the time we got back from dinner last night.

Each room has its own thermostat so it heats up quickly.

Dave & Kathy had a good time - very bad weather going to Bermuda - 30 foot seas and lots of people sick (but not them fortunately). Very windy coming back from Bermuda so they didn't get to use to pool but got a good rest which Dave really needed and had some great food and met some nice new friends. I worry so about Dave - he works so hard and puts in such long hours and is really exhausted. Today is their 10th Wedding anniversary and he sure is a great husband and a wonderful father.

So much to do today - have to get ready for Trick or Treating in our area on Sunday. I can never buy the candy too early or it mysteriously disappears. lol

Be back later.

Hi MaryLou & Peggy-

MaryLou- Glad your house heated up quickly for you. I can't stand being cold! It seems like the older I get, the worse the cold feels. Lee likes it cooler, so sometimes I wear my coat inside!

Peggy- what are you doing this weekend? I saw you cancelled Boston.

I have reached my goal of wt loss; now I can actually wear my clothes once again.

Need to leave for work shortly.

Have a good day!

Hi Marylou & Martha

Marylou - Glad you made it home okay and the kids had a great cruise - it was pretty chilly around here too - we needed heat

Thanks for the info on the Murder Mystery - I would love to go - I wanted to go when we were on the Brillance but I got the dreaded Norwalk virus and had to cancel - I forgot to tell Elaine about it last night and she has gone to Canada to visit her brother for the weekend so will tell her on Monday.

Martha - Congrats on your weight loss goal - I really should try to lose about 10 lbs before I go but then my clothes will be too big - what an excuse huh.

Guess your back to working like crazy again.

Today was a busy day we had to go to Home Depot to get paint and thought while we were out we would go to Kohl's and have lunch at Applebees it was very yummy.

Then we went to ToysRUs they had a couple of WII games on sale so Lisa bought them for Nick for Xmas.

We have to go out again and get eggs (forgot them) and we are making eggplant parm tonight - right now we are fighting LOl about who will go to the store I said I am old and I am tired she is younger, but it's not working

Did you see all the new people we have coming with us on our cruise - I guess we will have a full ship afterall.

Peggy

Good morning Mary Lou & Peggy-

Having a "sleep over party" tonight with Ashley and Aubrey. Scott is bringing them after their afternoon nap, probably around 3- Can't wait. He told them yesterday afternoon and they got soooo excited. Don't know who is more excited; Ashley or me!

Have to make a Christmas list for presents and start looking. Got the American Girl, Toys R Us and Fisher Price catalogs in the mail this week. Can't believe the prices for the toys in this economy. I bet there are a lot of sales going on before Christmas!

Need to go get my coffee; will check in later.

Have a great w/e!

Good morning Martha - you beat me on-line this morning. I hope you have a great weekend with Ashley & Aubrey. If they are anything like my grandkids those catalogs will keep them amused for hours on end.

I have 3 of our 4 grandkids finished for Christmas but not one single thing for Colin. There is no "in" toy on his list this year (probably because he has everything) DIL gave me a list of 3 DS or Wii games he wants and I really hate to buy those things for the kids but may have to get them as a last resort. Then all Ihave to do is make sure I don't give TJ all his Christmas gifts for his birthday on 12/7.

Really can't put off buying the Halloween candy any longer so off to Wal-Mart as soon as the sun comes up. Be back later.

Guess I have to go to the "other side" and give them some blah, blah, blah about the cabin crawl. I really don't know the big deal is. hehe
