Hi- Am back for a short period of time then have to run errands.

Yes, Peggy, thanks for explaining Flu Mist. It is a live vaccine, so Lee shouldn't be exposed. They are using it for children; it is not a shot, and immunity lasts longer. CDC wants more children vaccinated so they are trying to make it easier.

I am not a hair person. Good days and bad days; mostly bad!! Need my hairdresser to come with me to cruise!!

Later.............

Made up my packing lists today and started getting all the little things together. If it's nice this weekend I hope to bring up the luggage and air it out before I start packing.

One month from now Jim & I will be having dinner in Miami. Can't wait!!!

Good morning friends - just a quick hello before I get my day started. I don't know about you but I am getting so excited I can't stand it. Won't be long now and Martha, we can't wait to meet you and Lee.

First stop today will be the travel size section of our local store to restock our toiletry bags and get them all ready. We will be traveling with 4 of those - 2 for the road and 2 for the ship so those small sizes are terrific.

Be back on and off during the day - trying to do 100 things at once and should really concentrate on getting 1 thing done before I start another.

Peggy - got your message but never got a chance to call back. This running back and forth to Deb's is driving me nuts but she is doing better and it should slow down. I'll be in and out most of the day today but give me a call if you want to chat.

Good morning!

I had planned to use this w/e to do running around, but Lee informed me last night he volunteered us to watch the babies tomorrow for their mom for about 3 hrs. Oh well............

Lee's not doing so well today; he is very stiff and having trouble moving. Hope the new medicines get approved by the FDA soon.

I have just been putting summer clothes in the other bedroom. I am going to seriously have to figure out what is going where!!

MaryLou- Are the travel size things going to be enough? I am bringing regular size for shampoo, hair spray, etc. since we don't have to worry about flying. That's another thing I have to do..... pull out the suitcase I keep all the travel size things in and figure out what is going and what isn't. Also need to check medications and see what has to be ordered. Don't want to run out in the middle of the Gulf!!

Have a great day  and think of me working!!

Hi Martha - sorry to hear that Lee is not doing well today.

I will take along small shampoo, etc. but the smaller sized toothpaste, deoderant, shaving cream for Jim, Tylenol, first aid etc. I did the meds yesterday and ran into a problem. My Advair and my abuterol is renewable only after the 12th of the month. Will have to call the insurance company today to plead my case. If not I will just have to renew and pay for it but it is pretty expensive. All my other meds renew on the 1st. Jim is OK with all his until we get back as they renew around the 25th. All these little details!!!

I have daytime clothes all figured out - it's nighttime where I have a problem......too many clothes - too few nights. (Don't tell Jim - I'll deny I said that)

Have fun with the girls tomorrow. I know you are exhausted but also know you love spending time with them.

Hi -

Marylou & Martha

I saw that too - he still wants to be in charge - even if it is only for 15mins. I thought he mellowed out a bit but I guess not.

Martha - I hope Lee feels better -

As far as shampoo and stuff like that - I always bring a big size conditioner & shampoo and then try and do smaller sizes of the rest of the stuff - I always travel with a can of Lysol and spray everthing in the cabin - trying to avoid the dreaded Norwalk virus - I never want that again

Marylou - Hope yu get the meds worked out - I don't (won't) LOl take anything so I don't have to worry about that - just ibroprofen and some antibotics - in case.

I still have not even tried to pack I can't think of what I need to bring yet - probably at the last minute I will start throwing things in.

What can I say but ONE MONTH TO GO!!!!! I am so excited.

Not quite sure if I got the meds worked out or not. Spoke to my Dr. yesterday and one of my meds I take twice a day. She wants me to try cutting down to once a day beginning today. If that works I will be fine with them until we get back. Just kind of nervous about cutting back but I know I can always take a second dose if I need it. Hopefully it will work though - keeping my fingers crossed.

Taking the kiddies (and Deb) out for breakfast and then to do some shopping. Don't know how much walking Deb is going to be able to do but she went to the Dr., yesterday and he said the foot is looking really good. Then hope to get the luggage out on the deck for a bit to air it out before I begin packing.

Martha - have fun with the granddaughters today. We still need to pick a time and place to get together once on the ship.

Peggy - How is Nicholas doing? All recovered from his foot problems? What's on your schedule for the weekend.
