Good morning!!

Sorry I didn't get back on last night, but I was just too tired!!

MaryLou- I think I have our meds figured out; some should be renewed while on the cruise, but usually the insurance companies approve early renewal for vacations once or twice a year without repercussion, so we will do that.

I know I have to get serious about the cruise packing now that it is so complicated, but truthfully, I am feeling overwhelmed at the moment. Must be fatigue!!

I still have to do Christmas cards, Christmas shopping, and then figure out the packing! HELP!!!!! :biggrin:

Hi Marylou & Martha

Nick's foot is pretty much all better sometimes it hurts a little and is still very black and blue - but he is running around like crazy.

I have to start my Xmas shopping too Martha - I don't even know what to get everyone - the only thing I am sure about is Nick wants a camera phone I think I will just get him one with minutes - and he wants a new game for the WII - I already bought him a loft bed about 2 months ago and I told him that was for Xmas - I had to remind him of that the other day.

As far as Xmas cards go - the heck with it LOL - I told my daughter if she sends any out put my name on them. I will probably send out a couple though before I leave.

On more month - wow - now it is getting really close - I am starting to dread the Amtrak ride I hope we don't break down or get stuck behind a freight train - we are supposed to get to Ft. Lauderdale at 6:30 on Sunday - hope we are on time.

I looked at some clothes in my closet yesterday and I think I am in pretty good shape most of them have the tags still on them LOL so I guess I don't have to wash or iron them - my problem is formal but I think I am just bringing one gown for Captains night .

Ok I am off to lunch with Elaine.

Hi girls. Had a pretty productive day today. Got Christmas shopping for Colin finished. He wanted some new fangled figures that are in "in" thing and impossible to find and when I was looking at the empty racks in Target a salesclerk came buy and scanned the price code and told me they had just gotten them in and if I could give him 10 minutes I could get anything I wanted. Deb & I both grabbed just about everything they had and now Colin is done. Only have DIL Kathy (who is IMPOSSIBLE to buy for) to do and then I am done. Even bought some Christmas cards - whether they will get signed, addressed and mailed is another matter.

Tonight after a shower I will start trying on cruise clothes and see what shrunk while hanging in my closet. Actually I'm sure it's all OK but it's the only way I can get Jim to try on his things and since he quit smoking 8 months ago he has gained a lot of weight and I'm worried about his things.

Thats about it from here - miserable rainy day so didn't get the luggage aired out but tomorrow should be nice.

Hi-

Finally home!! Did some errands, got new sunglasses and went to Scott's to babysit. Aubrey went on the potty for the first time. She went running down the hall to tell Pop Pop and Ashley. Ashley bumped into her and knocked her into the side of the couch. You could hear her head hit from across the room. She fell last week and had a knot in the exact same place on her forehead. She cried and wouldn't stop; inconsolable for 20-25 minutes. Had to call Scott home from work. Monica finally arrived and made her call the doctor. They sent them to the ER to be checked for a concussion. She was acting pretty normal after 30 minutes but they want her checked. I am still upset about it. One of those things where you see it happening, but I just couldn't reach her in time. She has one .... of a knot in the middle of her forehead.

Will be up until I hear from them.

Martha - how is Aubrey? I'm sure she put a terrible scare into you and I'm sure she will have one heck of a headache today. Hopefully, there is no concussion. Please let us know as soon as you can.

Good morning!

Aubrey is okay. They called us last night around 10:30 and said they were taking her home. The Dr. had mentioned keeping her overnight, but she had perked up by the time they were seen and passed her neurological exam. Talked with them this am, and said she is much better today! Talk about scaring me!! I felt so bad having to call Scott home from work, but knew that type of crying wasn't normal.

Didn't sleep well last night so will probably just hang out today. There's just sooo much to get done. I'm not sure where to start.

Lots of dribble going on "over there"; must be driving them crazy!!

Martha - glad to hear that Aubrey is OK. I'm sure you didn't get much sleep last night worrying about her. Thanks for letting me know.

They sure do have to get in the last word, don't they? (but hats off to you!!)

Where's Peggy today? Don't start fretting over Amtrak already Peggy. It will be fine and you will probably have a much more relaxing trip that I will driving with Jim. Sure hope we are still talking when we reach Miami. lol

Hi Marylou & Martha

I was very busy yesterday - running around I bought a new pocketbooks and some other things I will tell you when I see you about what I have been buying.

Marylou - I didn't know Jim quit smoking - that great - it was 5 yrs for me in Oct. (and don't tell Jim but sometimes I still think about having one) and tell him in the weight will come off - it takes a while I gained 25 lbs but now have lost 30. I don't envy you guys driving to Fl. I hate driving that far - I know the best way is to fly 3 hrs and it's over but can't bring myself to do it (boo hoo)

Martha - That's terrible about your granddaughter - I am very happy to hear she is okay.

Nick, when he was 2 fell off a slide into somekind of woodchips and he was bleeding from his ear - they thought he has a bad head injury - we were so scared - but it turned out that one of the woodchips scratched his ear and that cause the bleeding - he was fine - had to have an MRI and my daughter was going nuts - so I know how you felt about her hitting her head.

These things do happen to kids and thank goodness they recover quickly.

Oh and LOL the dribble must be getting to them I LOVE IT>

Not much going on around here today Lisa is working and Nick and I went to ToyRUS this morning to get some kind of wrestleing video it came with a free tag team - still cost me 43.00 LOL

For his Bday they are going to see ECW and a casket match (yikes) in Bridgeport CT> I was supposed to go but I will be on the cruise - darn and my boyfriend the UNDERTAKER will be there LOL (only kidding).

4 WEEKS TO GO!!

Happy Monday friends. I hope you both had a good weekend. Very busy week ahead of us. It's Jim's week off which is always a busy time and it looks like it's just about time for the last clean-up in the yard. 90% of the leaves are down now and the trees are looking bare and cold.
