Good morning - another week over and 3 weeks from today we should be waking up in Roanoke Rapids, Va. and heading to Darien, Ga before the end of the day.

We had really been looking forward to visiting with cruise friends Brenda & Don for the weekend in Miami but they had to cancel our visit. Brenda works in the offices at Disney World but has been selected to sing in their Candlelight Christmas in Epcot center. Unfortunately she will have shows on both nights we will be in Miami. We will miss seeing them but I'm very happy to hear she is enjoying her job so much. If we were a little closer to Orlando we would go see them, but that trip will have to wait til next year. Maybe when we return to Miami next year for the Connie Goes Crazie cruise we can meet up somewhere.

Ashleigh goes for her annual Heart check up this morning. The last 2 years they have found 2 different things wrong so we are anxious to say the least. It will be a very long morning til they get back.

Better get moving and get some things done.

Any big weekend plans? Looks like our weekend will be very wet and yucky.

Martha - I am so happy for you - I am coming to your balcony when we go thru the canal

I have tried to talk Elaine into upgrading to just a plain balcony but she does not want too - she just booked a cruise on the Explorer in April for daughter & 2 grandkids and herself - she is paying and it is really, really expensive (easter break) so now she will be cheap on this cruise - I think in the end I may wind up paying for the balcony myself - since it would have cost me the same if I went alone - but I will have a better room.

Marylou - I will be thinking of your granddaughter today and saying a prayer that her tests are okay.

I didn't know that Brenda sang - that's too bad about them not being able to come to Miami - but it is a long ride from Orlando. That must be so great to sing in the candlelight Xmas special at Epcot. I bet she loves it in Fl. (wish I was living there again)

Oops, sorry friends I posted over on the Daily Dock but forgot to post here. Ashleigh made out quite well this morning. The leaky valve is still leaking but not nearly as much as it was last year. The Dr. hopes by next year it will heal itself completely.

As for the irregular heartbeat - he still wants her near a defibulator but the episodes are becoming less frequent and he hopes that eventually that will correct itself - too soon to tell yet. He wants her to go longer when she is having an episode before seeking medical assistance so all in all it was a fairly good morning all around.

Hi- Up early; couldn't sleep again. Too much going thru my little mind!!

MaryLou- glad Ashleigh got a good report. If you don't mind sharing, we will have to talk when we get together about her problem.

Peggy- Yes, you are invited to our cabin for the PC. We can "accidentally" drop things on MaryLou together!!

Boy, I wish we could win the lottery; maybe I would sleep better. The slot pull will do!!

Got the girls presents out yesterday and put in piles. Have to make sure they each have the same amount. Alex counts, you know.

You are up bright and early Martha. I finally fell asleep around 3AM but am back up. I think we both need a cruise so we can get some sleep. I really thought I was sleep well after Ashleigh's check up yesterday but I didn't.

How well I know the "check the piles and count the gifts". It will mean nothing to Paige that her digital camera cost most than 6 of Colin's gifts - what will matter is that Colin got 5 more gifts than she did. lol

I think I will concentrate on Thanksgiving today, making my menus and buying any canned goods I might need.

I'll check back later to see how everyone is doing.

What is going on? There are now 3 AFT cabins available for our cruise - 2 on deck 8 and 1 on deck 7. I've never seen afts available this late in the game.

Aft Cabins??? Wow I willhave to check that one out - I would love an aft - but Elaine probably will not want to spend the extra money maybe I can try and talk her into it.

I have not even started Xmas shopping - no one will tell me what they what except Nick and he wants everything LOL - not getting him much since I already bought him that new loft bed - I am getting him a cell phone w/minutes and a new WII game but probably nothing else.

Martha - I will be there on your balcony on the trip thru I will bring the drinks and some cheese & cracker to drop on Marylou LOL.

I slept good last night only woke up once about 2 am to use the ladies room LOL but then back to sleep till 8.

I am watching an old movie called The Thing - does anyone remember that - I liked it when I was a kid but now it seems pretty stupid.
