Good morning, Mary Lou & Peggy:

I knew I had read the ice cream rule somewhere!!

Alex, who is 10, sat right on his lap and began talking. This is the first year Ashley sat on his lap. Before, she always stayed away. She was shy, but she did sit and talk with him. She wants a "dolly".

Aubrey, who is 2 waved, but that was it. Couldn't get her to sit on his lap for a picture, though. A wave from my arms was enough!!

It was a lot of fun! I really get into being a grandparent. Miss them as soon as I leave them.

I am going to the Southern Christmas Show today with one of my coworkers. Have to leave the house by 9- ugh!

Will check back later.........

Hi Marylou & Martha

Martha - TPKeller has a lot of interesting info - I asked him a few times what the seas would be before I cruise LOL - I cruised with him on the Grandeur or "The Titanic cruise" LOL 30 ft seas and 70mph winds for 2 days - The Capt. said we were going backwards at one point LOL. We finally told my grandson the truth about Santa - he is still mad - said everyone told him last year but he believed us and now he is also disappointed - he can't ask Santa for more stuff.

Marylou - I put all my clothes in one large suitcase this time and a small carryon - I think I did really well - of course I only packed one formal outfit and the rest is black pants and dressy tops I am tired of carrying all that stuff that I don't wear. Only 3 pairs of Capri's and 3 pairs of shorts and one pair of long beige pants - lots of Tshirts though.. I am so proud of myself.

Nothing else new here it is snowing outside - not sticking but coming down - what about in Pa. is it snowing there?

I had a hard time yesterday with the boards I could read them but couldn't post - did either of you have a problem?

Peggy

Hi, I'm back home! Had a great time but am really tired. Walked my poor feet off.

Peggy- I didn't have any trouble yesterday posting that I can remember. I have trouble with the other place being so slow. I am not a patient person and it drives me crazy! I finally give up and go read.

I am a definite over packer. I know it and Lee knows it and for the most part, just accepts it.

How lucky to have snow! I love to watch it, but hate to drive in it. It is so pretty coming down. Just don't want too much as I have to do the shovellling!!!

Will check back later....

Good morning friends. Overpacking is definately my specialty. You never know just what you might need. lol

Martha - glad you had a fun day yesterday.

Peggy - hope you are keeping warm. I have to go to Kohls and get TJ pants for the Heart Assoc. dinner tonight but it's going to have to warm up a lot before I venture out.

Just tried to check the other place and can't get the pages to load. I have no patience for sitting waiting so I'll try again later.

Have a good day.

Hi Mary Lou & Peggy- heard back from Lee Miles. I was able to post to the other place the details. If you can't get on, let me know and I will post the email here, also.

Have to work today BOO!!!! Tomorrow I get the dreaded precruise cut and color. Always makes me nervous!!

I really CAN't wait for this cruise. I am fast burning out and need the break.

I keep telling Lee, since we are driving, we CAN bring the kitchen sink!!!!

Have to run; have a great day!!

Hope the kids have fun tonight!

Martha - saw your post about Lee Miles. That is great news. More money for those foo-foo drinks. lol

Peggy - sounds like you have this packing thing down to a science. Wish I could cut down like you - here the piles just keep getting taller and taller.

Hi Marylou & Martha

Busy day today - went to work with Rich and then did some Xmas shopping at Target - got my grandson the cell phonehe wanted. Now, I am waiting for my friend Sue to come pick me up and we are going to the Mall I am trying to cook some dinner so I can eat before I go LOL for some reason today I am starving Imust be in cruise mode.

Your right I do have packing down to a science - I am good at washing things in the sink if I have too and I always bring wrinkle release and stain sticks, I am never lugging all those suitcases again LOL.

Not much else is new it is freezing out I think last night was 17 or something like that and I feel like the both of you and I can't wait for the cruise - hope it warms up in Fl. before we get there I think it was 40 something in Orlando this morning brrrr.

Good morning. Have a busy day scheduled and must go down to NJ for a wake later on, then a funeral tomorrow morning.

Can you believe Thanksgiving is one week away. Guess I'd better get going and try and clear out my dining room this weekend or we will be eating on TV trays in the living room next Thursday.

Nothing else to report - have a good day and I'll be back later on.

Good morning!

I have "ready to cruise" burnout!! Getting fed up at work. Try to have a good attitude, but when it changes, I know I need a break! Why is it some people work their tails off and others come to work to socialize? Sorry, just tired I think and our plans for today just got shot to h@#$! Oh well.....

Maybe today I will actually start figuring out what clothes go in what suitcase!! Have to eventually!!

Will check in later with you..................

Oh Martha - sorry you are having a rough day. Sounds like you need a cruise (or 2) Maybe going thru your summer things will cheer you up a bit. Sorry your plans for today got ruined but are you still going for your haircut and color? Maybe that will lift your spirits.

Two weeks from today at this time we will be heading to our first stop in Roanoke Rapids, NC
