cruisetarp
Hi Martha - Hope you didn't have to work too hard today. Granddaughter Ashleigh had her first day in the 1st grade today and I'm happy to report she will be going back tomorrow. lol Nothing else going on here. Trying to straighten out the basement and get a "Christmas wrapping" area and a place to store the gifts we bought the other day.
waf125
Hi Mary Lou- Happy to hear Ashleigh has decided to return for day 2!! Our Ashley went to MMO today and she has a new friend; George!! She colored, played and said she is going back tomorrow, also, so I guess we are set!! I have Christmas presents all over right now.....after company comes and goes, we will be able to spread everything out. For right now, it's thrown all over! Have to work tomorrow so I hope you have a great day!
cruisetarp
Hi Martha - isn't that funny - our 2 Ashleigh's/Ashley's got off to a good start in school. What exactly is MMO? Our Ash has a boyfriend on the bus - Zack - but he's a much older man - 6th grade. lol He lives in her development and sort of took her under his wing last year when a classmate was giving her a hard time on the bus. Have you made plans for Aruba yet? Jim has his eye on a RC excursion but I really prefer to do things on my own. Have a good day - talk to you later. waf125
Hi Mary Lou- MMO is Mother's Morning Out. This year she goes from 9-1 and has lunch there. She goes Tues, Wed, Thurs. Also includes art and tumbling. She has no kids her age in the neighborhood so this is a big deal to her! Glad to hear your Ashleigh has an "older man" to look out for her!! Not doing anything much in Aruba, unless something jumps out at us. We are not there that long, so will look around and hang out at the beach for awhile. It's our downtime island!! Have never been there so we would like a tour of some sort, but haven't found anything special. Have a haircut today and have to pack for this w/e since I'm working again tomorrow. Have a good day....
cruisetarp
Hi Martha - sounds like you might be in for a bit of bad weather for your trip. My girlfriend just moved to Myrtle Beach about 4 months ago and is currently driving her DH crazy with worries about Hannah. We have to go to Staten Island this weekend for a Memorial service for my cousin and I'm beginning to wonder if we will be able to go. MMO sounds like a great program. It would be good to have something like that here. TJ will be going to pre-school on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 - 11:00. It's not much but we have the same problem here - no kids in the neighborhood for him to play with. He'll also go to gymnastics one morning a week. He loves that and it help him to run off some of his energy. I'm the same way about Aruba - I've never been there and want to see everything but nothing jumps out at me. I'll keep looking though. The short time there doesn't help much either. Have a good day - I'll be back later. I guess they wonder what happened to us over at the other place - there is NOTHING going on with that thread now. waf125
Yeah, I checked this am and no one else is posting now. It's a shame 1 person seemed to drive everyone away!! Will see what happens. Sometimes elderly people get that way; demanding everything be their way. It's sad.
waf125
Got my hair done; trying to grow a bob! Don't know if I have the patience; we'll see. Still have to pack since I work 12 hrs. tomorrow. We are supposed to leave a 6 am Sat. We will be fighting Hanna so wish us luck!! Have a good weekend and I'll talk to you on Monday! waf125
Hi Mary Lou- Well, we are going to head out shortly. Hanna made landfall in North Myrtle Beach and we are driving to Myrtle Beach!! Hopefully, as we drive down things will improve. One road that we know of flooded. Yeah!!! The other thread had some action. Glad you posted. Maybe it will wake some up. Now that the other person is going on a cruise, I may post some. Hope you have a great weekend
