cruisetarp
Good morning Martha - I haven't been over to the other site yet so I don't know if you are in trouble or not - but WHO CARES! lol I'll have to go over there after I'm finished here. Nothing special today other than getting a hair-cut (at a new salon - I like to live dangerously) and then I need to finish up the shirts for the heart walk and start cooking. You can find the daily dock if you go over to the general section (3rd group of forums down) and go to CruiseCrazies Connections. Once there just click on the first thread - Daily Dock for September. There are a lot of super friendly folks over there chatting about everything and anything. Time to begin some laundry and make sure I have enough pillows plus clean sheets & towels for weekend company. I'll check in with you later. waf125
Hi MaryLou- looks like I ducked the big one! Have fun getting your hair cut! Always makes me feel good for the day; then I have to do it myself. Volunteering today for Levine Children's Center; our new children's hospital so I will be out most of the pm. Found the Daily Dock and posted. Will be back later............

peggyg
Hi Marylou & Martha Marylou your giving me a bad rep Martha will think I am a troublemaker - I have tried to be good on the other site I finally got into this site and hope to be able to chance my password and talk on here more often. If this guy on you know where - wants to be in charge of everything - do we really want to go on a tour with him? Or can we just do this tour on our own - or should be leave well enough alone - not many people seem to be posting - did you check to see if there was another thread for this cruise? I see you are cooking dinner - too bad I already ate or I could have driven over to see you LOL Martha - at least I will have you and Marylou to chat with - does not seem like our friend on the other site - wants to be really friendly Nothing much going on around here today - it was a really nice day - I am watching my grandson he is 10 and he has homework (yuck) I hate doing homework LOL - Marylou - I forgot to ask you how did Carol make out during Hanna? Have you heard from her I will check in tomorrow Peggy
waf125
Hi Peggy! Glad you made your way over here. You a troublemaker???? Nah, I have that distinction. If you knew me, that would crack you up! This is where I come to keep out of trouble! I really want to go on the Costa Rica tour that they have planned. It sounds great. If necessary, I will just sit in the back and keep a low profile. You are right about not many people posting. Sometimes it would be MaryLou and I and no one else. Not sure if it's because in the beginning we were told no dribble or what. One of the rules I continually break!! I think one of the problems is they have so many cruises and threads it makes it much easier for them to keep track if there is not much posting. I have asked them to change our info 3x but it has yet to be done. Glad you got to keep your grandson. Our granddgtr is going to be 10 in 9 days. I hate helping her with her homework. Makes me feel really dumb!! Where in NY do you live? I was born in Yonkers. I have relatives all over NY and still go up there occasionally. Well, I've typed a letter I see! I will be working tomorrow so I won't be checking in until late. Have a great day. MaryLou- be sure to get some rest!
peggyg
Hi Martha - I still have not done that homework LOL I was born in Brooklyn and then moved to Rockland County now I live in Orange County NY it is about 1 hr kind of NW of the city. I can't believe that anyone would try and tell people that they can't talk about whatever they want to talk about. When Marylou & I cruised together we had lots of people talking on the board and we all talked about everything and anything. I guess like you say he is just a grouch and wants to be in charge - What do you have planned for GC are you really going to do the Sting Ray Tour - I have always wanted to do that - but I can't swim so I am scared to go - I guess you just stand on a sand bar and they swim around you - but if I got knocked over I would really be scared LOL - I hear it is a great experience - Last year I went in the water with the Dolphins and I loved it. I probably won't even get off the ship in Grand Cayman - I have been to the 7 mile beach and the turtle farm and also to Hell and they only thing I want to buy there is jewelry so I think I am going to enjoy a relaxing day on the ship. Besides I hate to tender. Talk to you tomorrow Peggy
cruisetarp
Peggy - great to see you over here finally. Even though both Martha & I will continue to post on the other cite, we are more comfortably chatting here. Believe me Peggy, I thought about not taking that tour in Costa Rica but they have toured with this guy several times before and he changed things around to the way they wanted them. It's tricky finding a reputable guide in some of these ports. Martha - in Costa Rica you will have company in the back of the bus (and we won't be being quiet) Add Peggy into the mix and "they" don't stand a chance. lol I have so much to do I'd better get going. I'll check back in the morning. Martha - great to see you over on the Dock. Hope you'll come there often.
cruisetarp
Good morning Martha & Peggy - busy day today - have to start cooking for about 80 people on Sunday but fortunately Deb has finally decided to keep it simple. We want to feed these nice people who came out and walked with us but we don't want to make a whole day of it. So she decided simply to serve hot dogs, chili, pulled pork (which Michael will make) and hero sandwiches which will make it much easier on me. Before I forget, don't forget to list your cruise in the Upcoming Member Cruise list under the Interactive tab above. I actually got a haircut yesterday that I like. Very very short but it will eventually grow but I think it really looks good. I might just stick with this new salon. (I'll see what it looks like after I try to do it myself ) I'll be back and forth all day so I'll talk to you all later.

Hi Marylou & Martha Did we go on the boards - you know the ones that list all the ports - and search for another guide? I am going to check - But I am sure we will be fine - after all we will be together and that's all that matters to me. Nothing much to say today - I have to go down to the TA - I think the cruise went down a bit - maybe only 30.00 but hey since I am traveling single that means a lot to me. I will be back later Peggy
cruisetarp
I'm so excited - was just able to switch cabins and get one of the AFT cabins. I have been looking for one of those ever since we booked and one became available this morning. I grabbed it right up. Peggy - I did look at several excursions before I agreed to join the other group. It will be fine. (I can stand anyone for a couple of hours lol) Good luck on the fare reduction Peggy. Hopefully there will be a few more before we sail but I seriously doubt it for our D1. Time to stop chatting and start cooking. This is not working out the way I like it. Usually I cook and make all the messes and Jim is right behind me scrubbing pots and wiping down counters. He's at work today though so it's all up to me. booHoo!!!
