Cruise Reviews...

Our first cruises were before we had the internet, so we didn't write any reviews. Starting with when we joined the "critical" baord, we've written reviews for all cruises. When we joined this Crazy Board, we posted all of our old reviews, as well as doing current ones. For most of our cruises, we've had the only Crazies review of the ship. Unlike most Crazies, we haven't sailed on Carnival, Princess, or RCI, since we like small ships; and not many Crazies have sailed on Windstar, Regent, or Avalon.

Well I USED to!! My wife Donna now does this. She belongs to another cruise web site and has become a sort of Cruise "Super Star" when she writes a review!!!. That's what other cruisers call her anyway!! Actually her views are very honest and have won praise from others. I being a one finger typer, no longer write-it takes too long.

Regards,

James.

Sailing for free would be nice...but, even if you did, I still think you could write a review....

No I am sorry I have to disagree Carmen... in life I believe get what you pay for...for me its like voting ..if you vote you can complain... so....if you pay you have a voice.. if it is free.... then no matter what happens....you got your moneys worth....

Let's see we've been on 16 cruise and we have 6 reviews posted here and 2 reviews on an old defunct cruise site. That makes us 50%.

If Jason wants we could post the other two here, however they go back to the years 2000 and 2001.

Well, you spend your hard earned money getting there and, perhaps, you had a choice of places to go for free...regardless, I attend functions, at times, at which I am not charged but, if the hotel where they are held has surly service or if I find a bug in my soup or the cutlery is dirty, I just might say something AND I might comment on it to someone else who is thinking of using the facility for a function - regardless of whether I forked over a single penny.

When I'm considering a new ship or even one I've been on a long time ago the very first thing I do is head for the reviews. I've gotten lots of valuable info that way. And, if al those folks took the time to post so I could have a better cruise, I think the least I can do is return the favor.

Sailing free reminds me when we were on the Silver Wind a few years ago we were at a table one evening comprised of the Priest, the Rabbi and his wife, the Bridge Instructor and his wife. I had to comment, "and I'm the only dummy who paid for this cruise."
