julesrollo
We have been given an allocation for our rooms on Verandah deck of Carnival Freedom. They seem to be right up near the front of the ship and I was wondering if that would be a noisy area. would anyone know where the quieter rooms are located on the Freedom? I have trouble a lot of trouble sleeping....Also, has anyone been on the Western Meditteranean cruise and could give me any tips? I have only been on one cruise which was the Pacific cruise from Sydney around the islands. Thanks
mercedes
Julesrollo, welcome aboard. You can check out my review on my Western Mediterranean cruise under cruise reviews. Select ship reviews at the top of the page, Carnival Cruise Line, Carnival Liberty and there is my review along with Mebert who also cruised to the Mediterranean. Sorry I don’t have any information about your room. I am sailing the Freedom in June and have a suite on the Empress deck at the very back of the ship. When is your cruise? Hi Mercedes, My cruise is starting on 3rd June, 2008. We fly from Australia to Singapore, 2 nights in Singapore, then fly to London, catch connecting flight to Rome, spend 3 nights in Rome and then board the ship (phew!!). I look forward to looking at your review of the Meditteranean. Thankyou for responding. Jules
frostyboy64
i to have a hard time sleeping on ships and i have been on the freedom of the seas and i allways get a room in the middle of the ship. it is the most stable & very quiet
hazelson
Hi Jules - to us it doesn't matter where on the ship the room is - but more importantly what is above or below that room. We were above the teen club on the Conquest and it was pretty bad - noise wise. Lots of music (if you can call it music!) OMG I'm beginning to sound just like my mother. You can check Carnivals site once you have your room number to see where you are exactly. We like to be close to the elevator. That way I don;t have to walk down a lot of long hallways - claustophobic that I am :o) Great to see you posting.....and Welcome to the best cruise site around!!!!
