Suzila
I prefer the port days when we get to either sightsee or participate in an activity I would never think of doing while at home.
sailinglisa
I love both! Sea days are so relaxing.....sleep in, relax and enjoy some fun games, etc. Port days are fun for me too.........if I've been somewhere before and have no desire to see that place again, I treat it as a sea day........just me and a few others who prefer the ship empty and all that space and service just for us! Now, if I've never been to a port of call before, I get off the ship and do a tour and some exploring, but if I've been to a port more than once or twice, it is a ship day for me. hazelson
Both - we love seeing new places but the sea days really allow you to explore the ship and meet a lot of interesting people.
honestokie
I love em both! Actually I enjoyed the port days to see new things... however, the sea days were great to just relax and soak up the sun and also participate in the activities on board and I met some great people!!! Joanandjoe
New question: Have you ever bought anything interesting and worth while from a ship's store? We haven't: just the usual booze, with an occasional other purchase (such as a cheap watch when the strap on Joe's watch broke. The closest to something worth while was a CD recorded and signed by one of the ship's guest performers.
sailingrose
Nothing that sticks out in my mind. Pretty much the usual stuff, t-shirts, cups, etc.

TheSkipper
Yes, I have over the year. Bought Roe a couple pieces of Lladro and a Gold Globe with diamonds embedded in all the countries we have visited.
KeithnRita
Three years ago on a New Year cruise I bought Rita a watch with a large assortment of color trim rings for her anniversary. She likes to match!
rogue
We try to buy at least one thing that will remind us where we were. For example, when we were in Alaska, we bought a small totem pole. Also, Cindy will try to buy jewelry.
