TheSkipper
Yep, we will be sharing the same ocean. Our first stop is in the Azores, no Bermuda. Then we hit three stops in Spain and one in Corsica and then on to Rome. We sailed from Rome exactly a year ago aboard the Legend of the Seas, and sure never expected to be back so soon. Just heard today that Azamara is flying us into Miami on the 11th and putting us up at the Wyndam Miami Airport and it's included in the cruise, no additional charge. Almost fell off my chair when I got that news. Checked online and this hotel starts at $225 per night.

zebra
Ed.... we too have been looking at Transatlantics and were secretly hoping that we could book on your cruise BUT as I work the Tax season.... there is no way that we can cruise before April 16th. It would have been great to cruise with you and Roe...sorry! We have an April 20th cruise booked to the Caribbean and are still trying to decide if we should do a Transatlantic at the end of April......... TheSkipper
WoW, Jackie, that would have been great. We just kind of fell into this one. We get emails from a major cruise club all the time and they have pretty good deals. I saw this transatlantic for $1999 each including air, plus a $300 on board credit, prepaid gratuities and transfers. Then when I emailed the TA there that we have used, she emailed me back and told us if we were "Seniors" we could move up four catagories and pay on $1399 and still get all the goodies. Took us about two minutes to jump on that deal. Later, we found out about the precruise hotel being included also. Just get sick on the 12th!! It sounded like everyone else in your office was coming in when the felt like it. By the way, I looked at the website for Fuzzy Buddies, looks great. Gucci is one lucky Shih Tzu. Ours will be moving down the street to live with his two best buddies. A couple Golden Retreviers named Kasey and Anne. He really gets spoiled down there. If you start feeling ill, sent me a PM and I'll email you the complete details on this cruise.
elfed
Hi folks, My brother and his wife (both in their 70's) travelled on the Amamara out of New York last year and they said it was their best cruise ever! It wasn't Transatlantic but my brother, a veteran of over 15 cruises, said the service, food and entertainment were truly outstanding. So it looks like you are in for a treat. (My brother does not offer praise lightly) Looks like you got yourselves an incredible price too. Have a great cruise and tell us all about it on your return. Regards, James. zebra
Oh my goodness Ed what a deal!!! We would certainly have jumped on it too if it were after the 16th - but if I leave before the 16th I loose my bonus otherwise the idea of becoming sick would sound very appealing!! I need that bonus for the next cruise. We would have l-o-v-e-d to have cruised with you and also enjoyed all those perks.... what a deal!!!!! Yes I don't think Gucci will miss us too much......... TheSkipper
Oh well, just a thought. Understand about he bonus. It's not a deal if you loose as much money as you save. Just checked in on line and realize I've got to renew my passport next year. Wow, that time sure slipped by quickley

Wow, that time sure slipped by quickley  Still kicking myself that the timing of this cruise won't work for us - hopefully next time! Our passport is so full of stamps, on of these days they're going to refuse us because we need to have at least three empty pages - oh the pitfalls of being a world traveler
