rogue
Those are great pictures. Washington is my favorite city to visit. There are world-class museums (and most of them are free), great restaurants, a clean subway system, nice hotels, and I can drive there in under three hours. The monuments and Arlington are moving even in pictures. Thanks for sharing.
TheSkipper
Larry, Fantastic pictures. What kind of camera were you using? I lived in the DC area for a number of years, but it still impresses me when I see pictures like yours.

becktours
I would love to get back to D.C.. The last time I was there was 1994. I would love to take my kids'. So much history!!
mercedes
Really great pictures. I pass the Washington, WWI, WWII and the Lincoln memorials, plus several museums on my way home everyday and I have never visited any of them. Once it gets warm I will definitely have to schedule some time to see them.
cruisetarp
Beautiful and very moving pictures. I have not been to Washington since DS was in high school and they ran us thru that town so quickly we barely saw anything. Someday we will get back there. KeithnRita
Very nice photos, Larry! That's something we need to do, visit Washington, DC again. It's been much to long ago.
jacketwatch
Thank you. DC is truely a great place to visit. The govt. museums are all free, the sights are plentiful and moving and the food is great. I had the best restaurant Indian food of my life, and bear in mind I've been married to and Indian lady for nearly 30 yrs. and have had Indian food all over India, Chicago and London, at a restaurant called Bombay Club in DC.
