I want to introduce myself - my name is Cheryl and I'm crazy about cruising. I also want to take the time to thank Jason and Cruise Crazies for welcoming me to the boards. I haven't been here in a long time but I'm going to change that.

Some of you may recognize my username from one of the "other" cruise boards. Well I discovered last week that they can be very unbending - you could say "critical" even to those members who have been with them since 2002 and have over 5000 posts. I contacted Jason about the issue I was having on the other board and he assured me that it won't happen here at Cruise Crazies. I may or may not post to the other board - I'm still undecided - but I do know that Cruise Crazies is officially my favorite board.

I have been cruising since 1999 and loved it from the moment I took that first step onboard. Over the years I have collected LOTS of information on Carnival and when friends would ask about Carnival I would hand them this 23 page "booklet" - more like a book. I'm not kidding 23 pages and growing. Last year I decided to take the information that I had collected throughout the years and develop a website. Last November www.seauonboard.com was born. I am not a travel agent (or associated with any), just someone who LOVES to cruise and LOVES to share my love for cruising with others. Some say I'm passonate about it. When I hear someone say cruise (it could be 2 people in a checkout line) I'm on it like a pig in slop. So now I have the site, that I update every couple weeks, because if there is one thing I'm learned about cruising Carnival is things change all the time. Now when someone asks me about Carnival I give them my site (even have business cards - pretty bad). I do credit those who have taken the time to post to message boards - because there is no way I could have collected all this information without their help.

Again - thank you Jason and I hope one day to Sea U Onboard.

I am here as well because I love to cruise - met Joey on a recent ( December ) jaunt on the Monarch of the Seas and he invited me to Cruise Crazies. I, too, have ( and still do ) write on other boards - I am an avid writer, mainly of poetry and short stories, in between being a forensic nurse. I did not feel very welcome on the very large other cruise forum but Joey told me how wonderful and welcoming I would find it here and I was immediately taken into the fold. We are family here and, since my closest biological family is on the other coast, I thrive on my cruising network here - for cruise info and all sorts of other good tips and

support.

Thanks for joining us and giving us a bit of information about yourself.

Welcome to CruiseCrazies, Cheryl. You are not the only person here who got fed up with other boards. I sometimes go over there to have a chuckle at some of the posts. Jason is right, you won't find that over here.

I checked out your site. It looks great. Lots of info.

Welcome aboard Cheryl #3! Glad you decided to join us. This has become my home after many years of floating on several boards including the big ones but none felt like family and friends like this one! Jason has a wonderful site for us to visit with each other.

Join us on the Daily Dock and share your day. It's the best place to get to know your Crazie friends.
