What could be better than a voyage on Crystal Cruises? A voyage on Crystal Cruises that costs 10% less than it should.

That's right, it's deal time at the famed luxury line, which Travel Weekly notes is offering some unusual discounts this month on upcoming Mediterranean cruises in an effort to boost bookings.

"The Mediterranean is soft," Crystal's Bill Smith tells the publication. "Everybody is feeling a softness."

Crystal is extending a sale originally launched in December that offers 10% off voyages in the Mediterranean. Cruisers now have through March 31 to get the deals.

Smith tells Travel Weekly that bookings remain strong. It's just that capacity in the Mediterranean is up so much this year -- 23%, he says -- that even with strong demand its taking discounts to fill ships.
