Rat
I usually cruise with my wife and daughter but I try to fit in a solo one yearly.

JoeyandDavid
Question of the day... Why do you cruise?
mercedes
Because I can -- lol. No, seriously, I get to visit many different countries, I don’t have to worry about meals or hotels and I am pampered for a couple of weeks.
Love2Travel
We love the whole feeling of being on the ship, good value- entertainment, food etc- don't have to think about what to do in the evenings- everything is there for you. Plus- unpack once and see a different port everyday! Love, Love, Love the whole experience! Gaol
KeithnRita
We only have to pack and unpack twice. The bed, restaurant, bar, casino, nightclub, pool, spa, etc. travel with us and we have a crew of designated drivers!
cruisetarp
Terrific question Joey We love the entire cruise experience. Having all the facilities we like (spa, casino, dining) all in one place, no driving, seeing a different beautiful Island each day and most of all back when Jim was working his office thought twice about calling him on vacation when they found out how expensive that phone call was. Dollar for dollar we feel it is still the best vacation value around.
kmills
We cruise because you only have to make one reservation and you get to go to several places with out packing and unpacking. Plus you do not have to have the big discussion of "where are we going to eat tonight". Along with the $$ value of cruising.
sailingrose
Can't think of anything I don't like about cruising except they make me get off! For me its convenience. I love having everything I need within walking distance, always something to do, Howie and I can each enjoy what we like best but still spend lots of quality time together. The other really big part for me is the smell of the sea and the open vast ocean........I love to just sit on the balcony and gaze out on sea days. Just a time to relax, unwind and smell the sea air with no cares in the world.
Joanandjoe
All of the above, plus the convenience. Both of our last two vacations took place and less than three weeks notice, and it was much easier to book just a plane and a ship than it would have been to make all of the arrangements for a "land trip". The one packing and unpacking aspect is great, and we love the pampering. One thing that no one is mentioned is that we tend to be "Type A" vacationers on a land trip. We can't seem to sit still for more than an hour or so, and beach bumming is out for redheaded Joe. On a cruise, we can relax, without all the frantic activity that we have in a land trip. We carefully avoid excursions that are as tiring as the "six museums, two Broadway shows in a 40 hours" that we did on our last mini-vacation in NYC.
