mercedes
Mar 4, 2008 Celebrity Equinox, the second ship in Celebrity Cruises' Solstice class set to debut next summer, will operate itineraries in both the Caribbean and Europe in its inaugural year. The ship's Europe season will last three months from August through October, before repositioning to the Caribbean for the balance of 2009 and the first quarter of 2010. Highlighted in the season will be port calls that are more Middle East than Europe including Alexandria, Egypt and Haifa and Ashdod in Israel. The ship's 2009 Europe season will first open for bookings on March 13, but only to members of Celebrity's loyalty program, "Captain's Club." On March 20 it will open bookings to all travelers. Equinox will reposition to the Caribbean beginning in November with alternating 10- and 11-night voyages with stops in George Town, Grand Cayman, Cartagena and Cozumel, among others. More details about the ship will be available beginning March 6 at www.celebritycruises.com/celebrityequinox.
