cruisetarp
Anyone else on the Explorer from Cape Liberty to Bermuda on April 6th? Really looking forward to this trip . We have sailed on the Explorer before and Bermuda is our all time favorite port. Would love to meet some other Crazies who might be sailing with us. janw
My husband and I just booked this cruise. It will be our first to Bermuda. What do you think the weather will be like at that time? I see you are planning a Panama cruise. We returned from a Panama cruise on Brilliance in Feburuary. It was wonderful. I know you'll enjoy. Looking forward to meeting you on this cruise. cruisetarp
Hi Jan - so glad to meet someone sailing with us. We only just booked this cruise on Tuesday so it will be a busy time trying to dig out some summer clothes. According to what I have been reading it should be in the low to mid 70's during the day while we are there and cooler at night. I guess a combination of clothes will be in order for me. I thought maybe shorts or capris for daytime and slacks for night. I'm still researching that. Hopefully you can give us all kind of good tips for the Panama Canal cruise. I am so excited about that one. Hope to meet you on the Explorer in LESS THAN A MONTH!!!! Have you sailed on the Explorer before. Jim & I have been on it twice before and love it. We have never been on a Radiance class ship so we are looking forward to the Jewel.

We've never been on Explorer, but have sailed Navigator (renewed wedding vows) and Adventure. Our June Cruise is a family gathering on Liberty. We did Freedom last winter. I love the promenade and ice rink ships. The Brilliance and Jewel are beautiful, too, though. Any cruise is a treat for me.
cruisetarp
Jan - We also love the Voyager Class with the promenade. I'm a very early riser and I enjoy sitting with my morning tea in the promenade and watching the ship come to life. As often as we have seen the ice show I am still amazed how well they perform in such a small rink. We haven't sailed on Radiance Class yet, but really love all the windows and the open areas for sitting and watching the world go by. One of the down parts of Voyager Class is the lack of ocean views from inside. Sounds like you are having a busy "cruise" year but what better way to spend your time. We saw the Liberty docked next to us in St. Maarten last year and it made the Explorer look so small in comparison. I look forward to chatting with you in the next few weeks. Beyondships
Beyondships - will you be on the Explorer this Sunday? We can't wait. Have sailed on the Explorer several times before and love Bermuda. I was on Explorer once to do an interview with Captain Bill Wright, Royal Caribbean's head of maritime operations, and Dr. Otis Brown of Miami University and the Ocean Lab. http://www.beyondships.com/Explorer-WinningEquation.html and http://www.beyondships.com/Exploreroceanlab.html Unfortunately, I believe the Ocean Lab is now closed. In addition to just the pleasure of cruising, I am looking forward to photographing the ship from top to bottom. When I was on before, I had not yet started to do comprehensive photo shoots of the ships. Hope to see you onboard.
cruisetarp
We will be up in the Viking Crown lounge for about 45 minutes prior to muster. We will be with a small group and we will all have our life jackets with us. Try and stop by. Otherwise we are on Deck 6 forward - starboard side. We will have a CruiseCrazies sign on our door. Hope we get a chance to meet
