As you already have discovered, we will be on board with you on this sailing Just PM'd you with our Stateroom number. Can't help you with these ports. With the exception of Rome we have not been to any of these. Were in Rome last spring, sailed out of there aboard the Legend of the Seas and flew home out of the Rome airport. Spent a couple days there pre-cruise there. That was our third time in Rome. This time we will be going straight to the airport and flying back to Las Vegas after the cruise.

Which ships have you sailed on for your previous two cruises??

See you on board.

Hi, welcome to Cruise Crazies!

We have only done two of these ports of call. Ponte Delgado Azores, well that was an experience. We didn't do an excursion, we just walked into "town". It's a very, very old island and NOBODY spoke a word of English, except for a cafe where we stopped for a cup of cuppacino and all the lady could say was yes or no (not always in the correct order) for every question we asked. We walked around the market which was interesting and then explored all the narrow winding little back streets where the residents live and shop.... it was definitely interesting, but not on our list to repeat again. We went there on our Transatlantic cruise on the Legend of the Seas.

Rome.... what a city!!! It's about an hours plus drive from the port. We've been there three times and love the history, especially the Forum and Colosseum in Ancient Rome. There is so much to do that you need at least three days to do the visit justice.

We were also looking at the Azamara Journey for 2009. I'd be interested in a ship review when you all return.

By the way, I think the "inside cabin" next to your name reflects the number of posts you have made on this website. My name also reflects inside cabine with one star and we always have a balcony/veranda

Bon Voyage. Have a great time. Happy 25th (ours was this past December).

SClark - it's great to see you posting and again, Welcome to Cruise Crazies. Debbie & Jerry are correct - the interior cabin under your name refers to the number of posts you make here at CruiseCrazies. The more you post the higher your accommodations will get, so jump right in, begin posting and work your way up to the next level - an oceanview cabin.
