What is your favorite onboard drink?

Wine. I don't touch the hard stuff, either on shore or on a ship. Sherry or port are as alcoholic as my drinks get.

We'll see if that hold true on our Regent cruise, which includes alcoholic beverages.

Rita is mainly into wine with an occasional Cosmo of Chocolate Martini. Mine is Scotch and water with a twist of lime. We will usually order at least once a Miami Vice.

Miami Vice:

5 oz Bacardi 151 rum

1 package frozen pina colada mix

1 package frozen daiquiri mix

1. Mix pina colada with 2.5 oz. of rum w/ ice. Set aside.

2. Mix daiquiri with 2.5 oz. of rum w/ ice.

3. While frozen, add pina colada mix to a cocktail glass. Add the daiquiri mix on top, keeping it seperated from the pina colada mix. Serve

Joey, it's not really thin, as it's made with banana's it's pretty thick (like a smoothie) and yummy.

For me its what I usually have at home or out and that is single malt Scotch, neat. I just stuck in my ways I guess. I also like to sample the local brew at whatever island or locale we are in.

I love the foo-foo martinis. My current favorites are the Desert Pear martini and the French martini.
