For us it's all about Amtrak... they have dictated when we vacation...at least up to now :tongue:

I've got to say that with us, it's truly a group decision. I find two or three different cruises, and Cindy tells me which we're doing. :biggrin:

I do the planning - Dh does the paying :o) So long as DS will house/dog sit - we are good to go.

I do the planning and also do the paying by working that second job. The DH sometimes contributes to the fund by his side jobs. He just has be tell him when to show up to go.

I do 99% of the planning. On rare occasions Howie gets to pick between 2 cruises but for the mostpart he tells me when and I tell him where.

We plan like Howard. I do the research on two to three different cruises then we pick one. After that it's back to me to arrange cruise, transportation, hotels etc.

if you only count domestic influences.. I always get the itinerary I want.... I will say it's funny how that itinerary I choose is one that would really make david happy...
