We pose, but rarely buy.

There's a choice on boarding? Usually the photographer is so pushy that it's easier to pose than to argue. We've never bought a boarding picture, and probably never will. Doesn't everyone look his/her best racing to a ship, all hot and sweaty and tired from travel? All while lugging carry on bags? Feh!

If we've posed for any port pictures, it has been a rarity.

We usually skip the photos unless there is a special occasion. DD & I posed for pictures last trip since that one may be the last one for her and I for a while. Howie and I rarely take photos anymore.

Pose for them all and buy the ones we like - make for great souvenirs - especailly when I can get Dh into a red dress LOL.

We pose for many, yet the only ones we consistently purchase are the embarkation photos. (We have all 24 of them!)

We always buy the boarding photo of our group. The port photos we could do without.

Boarding pictures? Not often - depends on with whom I'm boarding. In ports, unless it's a new exotic place, like VietNam, I usually skip those. Sometimes I do the captain photos, especially if they are with ones who have become personal friends. But, then, they're usually in the same outfits and so am I!!!

my son loves having pictures taken so i usually let him pose but i take one with my camera as well if i can. we buy a few but i hate having my picture taken so. have like 3 or 4 thousand pictures that i have taken over the years and only have a handfull of me thats what i look like in pics LOL

Today's Question:

Shore excursions can be obtained everywhere...from the cruise line, through private websites (like shoretrips.com) ...still some people prefer Private guided tours.. and of course others prefer to be "on your own"...

What is your favorite type of shore excursion?...

Yesterday's question - We pose for them sometimes, and usually buy one or two.

Today's question - We have only done the ship excursions. We really did not know you could do private websites until I was talking with a couple on the tender into Belize. On our next one in 2/09 we are going to do a couple of private ones that the TA is setting up for the group.
