Dan
Has there actually been anything set up yet in regards to this cruise, or is it still one of tossing around ideas of what line, and what destination people want?
cruisetarp
Dan - We will be going to the Caribbean sometime in late October, Early November '09. Joey is still waiting for prices and itineraries to come out but is keeping right on top of things. Hopefully we will have all the final details by the end of April and will be ready to start planning. The Caribbean was decided on by a group vote and the final decision will be done the same way. cruisetarp
Joey - we spoke to the loyalty ambassador on board Explorer last week and she reported that she believes the Explorer will only be doing 9 day cruises from Cape Liberty during the time frame we are looking at. The 9 day cruise goes to Bermuda, St. Thomas, St. Marteen and San Juan - not exactly the ports we were looking for. I'll keep my eye out though - she wasn't 100% sure and said all prices for the Caribbean should be out within the next 10 days or so. Will keep you posted on what I find out. JoeyandDavid
RCCL has released its Itinerary for our time frame...it appears the explorer will not be doing the run we had hoped for They do have a 13 night run like we wanted but its during April 2009......it has been reduced to 9 days and doesnt get down deep in the carribean.. Cape Liberty, Bayonne, New Jersey Kings Wharf, Bermuda • Philipsburg, St. Maarten Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas San Juan, Puerto Rico • Cape Liberty, Bayonne, New Jersey so I guess we just lost one... are most in agreement?
