Which is your Favorite Cruise line?

Not sure I can be much help because we have only been on one cruise line. But I did vote. Someday I would like to try another one

Not much into luxury - being simple folk LOL. Love the Carnival product and laid back atmosphere. Princess rolled up the carpets to early :o)

Things change. That is we have never sailed X or HAL and or last experience w/ RCL was so-so though I anticipate much better experiences next mo. on the AOS. :biggrin:

Tough one. Princess, HAL and Celebrity are all our favorites. I've also been on Cunard as a child (I don't list it) - all I can remember was all the women wearing hats! OK, OK, that was decades ago :biggrin:

They didnt list it and I wasnt for sure which catagory to put it in main or luxury.. that was the only reason

There's a middle area of semi-luxury lines with smaller ships than the mainstream ships. That includes Oceania, Azamara, Windstar, and probably a few others. Those lines don't quite belong in either mainstream or luxury. If you listed Oceania as mainstream, Azamara should have the same listing.

For that matter, Cunard fits into both categories: gnerally mainstream, but the top accomodations with a separate dining room are in the luxury category.

Jenn.... I should have known that I can't mention the word "hats". We sailed Cunard from Cape Town, South Africa to Southampton, England and they had a great ceremony as we crossed the equator. They call it the "crossing the line" ceremony. We were all painted with whitewash and then dumped in the swimming pool. After this initiation we were presented with a certificate from Neptune!!
