Yes, Joey I enjoyed meeting them both very much. Wish we were able to see more of them.

Steve I agree with Jackie, you did a fine job!

Howard I couldn't wait a whole year! Yikes! So glad your cruise is close.

Steve always does a great job.....

I want to book another one.. but .....oh well... I need to get off my #$## and get the Mercury review written..

I did call celebrity this morning to express my concerns over the food.. I did Mention as what you guys said about the food on RCL... and told them cutting expenses was all fine and dandy to make sure profit was there...but not if it effects the quality of food.. some standards.. need to be left alone..

was i wrong????

Joey - I don't think you were wrong at all. The cruise lines are always asking for feedback and if they want to hear what people think they should take the good with the bad. If you felt the food was not up to Celebrity's standards, you had every right to let them know how you feel.

Joey I'm so glad you contacted them - we can always rely on you!!! Yes hopefully they get it right before our cruise. We also found that cruise food is subjective. We all have different likes and dislikes and different palates. Because Tony and I love european style cooking, we LOVED the food on the Mariner - especially in the Windjammer. Curry is our favorite and theirs was unbelievable. So very often it boils down to the selection we put on our plates. It's a pleasure when every steak you have is delicious and tender.. which it has been in our case for 16 cruises, except the Carnival Legend and the Infinity... all their steaks were tough. I also complained to Celebrity at the time and so did the other 3 couples at our table. Tony is a big steak eater because of his seafood allergy... he is much more limited in his choices than most of us.

Good job Joey!
