within the next 48 hours there should be an announcement of importance to all members of the CruiseCrazies Group Cruise....

O MY GOODNESS!!!!

That sounds interesting. I was just considering the purchase of our flights to Miami from Atlanta. The total cost for 2 roundtrip is hanging in at $492.00 right now and I just can't imagine the price dropping lower. I think I'll wait for this announcement before taking any action.

"Baywood Hotel, Inc. Through an affiliated company, Sunshine Hospitality, LLC, from Doral, FL, is pleased to announce the opening of the Holiday Inn Express Miami Doral. The 4-story property (8436 NW 36th Street, Miami, FL 33166), formerly operated as a Clarion Collection Las Palmas Hotel and Suites, had been upgraded as a Holiday Inn Express in January, 2009, following a huge renovation."

Hi everyone,

Great news!!

Our hotel has gotten a makeover and changed it's name!

We are now staying at the Holiday Inn Express!! Same Rates!! Same Deal!!

If you have already made your reservations we have been assured that they will be transferred over to the new system (group bookings and rates are being transferred this week.)

If you haven't made your reservations yet, (and i haven't)you may do so beginning Monday February 2, 2009.... remember to tell them you want the "CruiseCrazies" Rate.. that's $98.00 per night plus 13% tax .. that rate is available for three day before we cruise and three days after we cruise...and yes Parking IS Included!!

The phone number to Holiday Inn Express Doral is still 1-305-592-4799

If you are like so many that "Trust but Verify" ...please do so next week and you experience any problems .. please drop either myself or JohnG a note..

In the mean time it's back to the planning of "ConnieGoesCrazie!"

Mary Lou,

Yes, we might be interested in the St Lucia tour. The last time I was down there we went on one very similar that was a new one the cruiseline added. We enjoyed the itinerary and scenery.

I found this tour in St. Lucia that I thought was pretty good. I've read good things about the tour operator and wonder if anyone else would be interested in joining us on this tour. We have never been there before so would like to see as much as possible.

The tour fee is US$65 per person.

Its 5 to 6 hours. You only pay in cash at the end of the tour. We will be stopping every 10 mins for your photo moments. We will be visiting the banana plantation, fishing villages (Anse La-Raye and Canaries), also Marigot Bay where the movie Dr. Doolittle was filmed, then we will be stopping for breakfast where you can sample the local fish cakes, johnny cakes, coconut cakes, and different local fruits from the Island. We will be having a mobile bar with rum punch, local beer, water, soda. All the eats and drinks will be free. Feel free to have a drink at your convenience because the mobile bar will be with us all the time. Then we head down to Soufriere where you will have an overlook of the pitons, then the waterfall and botanical gardens. Then to the only drive-in Volcano in the world where you will be getting an informative guide to show you around. From the volcano we will be going to the beach which is the Jalousie Beach between the pitons for swimming and snorkeling, where we will be taking the water taxi. Where I will be paying the snorkeling fees. Please bring alone your snorkeling gears. After the beach we will be stopping for a drink and sample the local spice rum. On the way back to the north we will be stopping for the local hot bread and cheese for lunch. Our last stop will be 5 mins drive from the ship where you can do all your shopping for local souveniers to take back home. We will be leaving at 8:30am, You have to be at the gate for 8:20am. As soon as you come off the ship you walk into the building right in front of you, then turn right until you meet the security booth and there I will have a sign written('COSOL'). Bring along your camera. Because of the small changing room at the beach you can wear you swimsuit under you garment to save time. If you have any more queries call me on my cell (758) 7196697 or visit my website at cosol-tours.com. Thanks for emailing me. Looking forward to your confirmation reply.

Anyone else interested. So far we have the following Crazies interested in this tour.

Jim & MaryLou

Joey & David

Howard & Cindy

Jackie & Tony

Rose & Howie

Judson & Louise

John & Karen
