One night is great Howard. At least you will be in Miami and ready to cruise on Monday. How is the new job going by the way?

Jackie - I'm going to rework the trip tomorrow. Won't have time on this trip to sightsee in St. Augustine but we will definately not be staying in Daytona. Thanks for the tip.

I just found this information on what other ships will be in port the same time we are. This might help in planning your day. In some cases you may want to go ahead and book any excursions you might be interested in:

St. Thomas - Emerald Princess

St. Maarten - Adventure Of The Seas

St. John, Antigua - We will be the only ship in port

Castries, St. Lucia - Ventura

Bridgetown, Barbados - Artemis

Oranjestad, Aruba - Nordam and Westerdam

Willemstad, Curacao - Westerdam

Of course this is subject to change but it is the current schedule.

The new job is going great. I no longer have the amount of pressure I had in my old job. I used to be afraid to answer the phone on weekends, but now I don't think a second time about it.

Howard we'll only be there 1 night also. I understand how hard it is to get away for 2 weeks.

That's one of the reasons we decided on this cruise. It forced us to make the decision to take 2 weeks off. We've only done that once in the last 20 years or so. It's about time we did it again.

and don't think we all don't appreciate the fact we get to sail with you guys ..we all understand how difficult 2 weeks is for most..

That's one of the other reasons we are on this cruise. We really want to meet all of you. Even though Cindy doesn't post (God knows I've tried to get her to post), she's always asking what's new on the thread and is reading over my shoulder.

sounds just like someone else i know...

Add Jim to that list also. He talks about you like you were long lost friends but wouldn't dream of posting here (or anywhere else) He gave up on computers the day he left Wall Street and all the computer screens on his desk behind

MaryLou....Glad to see you have the important part of your trip planned out. Who cares about going home. I can't belive you know what ships are gong to be in ports with us. You are on the ball!

Howard & Rose...One night is great, afterall we still have a 13 day cruise after that!

Ok, confession time. My kids in St Louis called the other day and they are booked on the Princess Ruby leaving Ft Lauderdale on Nov 24 for 10 days. Many of the same ports the Crazie cruise is going to except the very southern part. It would cost about $600 less than the Crazie cruise. Of course they wanted us to go with them. It would really be great fun to cruise with the grandkds and we thought a lot about going with them but in the end have decided to stay with the Crazie cruise. We have been looking forward to actually meeting everyone and going on a great cruise at the same time we just couldn't change plans. The fact of being locked on a ship holding 3000 people, many, many of which will be children had absolutely no bearing on our decision! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Got on the internet yesterday and looked at our ship and cruise. Now, I am really getting excited! This will be the longest time we have gone without a cruise since we started in 2004. We planned it this way so we would really be ready and excited to go on this special cruise. I will probably have a smile on my face that will rival Big Bob on the Enzyme commercials!
