this really sucks!!!

I've been looking at airfares, and if I flew in on Monday instead of Sunday I would save $100.00, plus the hotel room of course! ~ but Debbie and I are sharing that so that isn't such a biggie...

but geez...if I wasn't afraid I would miss the boat i would wait for Monday!

oh no...i wouldn't dream of it...not with my "miss adventures" LOL the earliest i could get in would be about noon, and that flight leaves Little Rock at 5:30 am and flies to Dallas, turns around and flies to Miami .... over 6 hours either on a plane or in a airport...no thank you!

just makes me mad, that's all

P.S. i guess in my earlies post I made it sound like I would wait until Monday, noo, was just mad about it costing more to go on Sunday...sorry...

Sorry, I misunderstood. I'm glad you will be coming in on Sunday. I believe we are going to have a little get together on Sunday night and you wouldn't want to miss that.

well andrea you still have time to buy.. so take your time prices could come down (look at alternative airports)

In searching the airfares myself I came upon the same thing! Traveling Mon. - Thurs. is much cheaper. I want to get there Sunday also for the same reasons. One time we almost did miss the ship because of a flight arriving late into San Juan. We made it on board about 45 min. before sailaway. The flight was booked with the cruise line but they'll still only wait so long. We met somebody who did miss it and had to meet the ship at the next port. They met the ship but their luggage didn't.

Good advice at looking at alternative airports. I was thinking of looking at flights from Flint - it's just an hour north of us. Detroit's airport is about 40 minutes away so it's not that much further.

only thing around me is Memphis and that is a 3 hour drive one way, Dallas is 6 hours...not alot of savings. don't know about Miami...then there would be transportion on that end
