JoeyandDavid
Maybe we should start a survey of those who DO drink and what they do so we can have an inventory of what they would like to bring on board; and those people who don't drink ( provided they were willing to )can "carry" for those who do drink... I think You just DiD ... we do drink wine ... but would be willing to bring one bottle for someone who needs 3! 1.)Joey and David willing to take (1)wine for someone else.. 2.) ME! Me! ME!!!! Santa Marghrita!!!!! It's normally polite to wait until the list has been completed.. 1.)Joey and David willing to take (1)wine for someone else. 2.)Andrea NEEDS 1 bottle taken aboard. 3.) 55ChevyLady
DH, Zack just brought up something I didn't think of. Does it say anywhere what size the bottle of wine has to be? I looked it up.....it doesn't. I know you think of a "bottle" as 75ml but some wines come in 1.5L - equal to 2 bottles. Just a thought Carnival says it 750ml. Normal size bottle :(

THERE WAS NO NEED TO CORRECT ME! what I meant was, in comparison Carnival considers a bottle of wine to be 750ml!!! so mister smarty pants, find out! but I've never seen my wine in a larger bottle than 750ml I guess you and David could just bring a BOX WINE on board for your 1 "bottle"

sailingrose
Joey have you tried the Black Box Wine? Definitely not cheap at $18.00 here but I'm curious........always wanted to try it. I actually don't mind the Target white table wine in the little cube.
deb1220
Zack bought me a box wine once (he doesn't drink wine) but I can't remember what brand. It was pretty good. I know my favorite brands of Merlot and Shiraz come in the 1.5 L. I'll do some more research on Celebrity's allowance.
rogue
They say that there's a corkage fee if you bring the bottle to the dining room. What would happen if you poured a glass of wine in your cabin and carried it into the dining room? How would they know whether you got it at one of the bars or not?
