2009 CruiseCrazies ® Group Cruise

Wow! 6 months to go and only 26 weekends, better get the bags out and start packing!
We usually book 9 months to a year out. Takes us that long to get everything in order. I'm sure once we retire, if we ever do, then we will book cruises on a much shorter notice.

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh!! I looked at that fact page. Some of you guys on this cruise are really busy people on CruiseCrazies. LOL - Why am I not surprised to find that Andrea was # 2 for Top !0 Posters of the Month - second only to Joey. Deb 1220 is pretty busy too.

I usually book group cruises at least a year out as well. The other group that I have cruised with sets them up far in advance. They have had 5 booked for 2009 for a long time and are already into some for 2011.

I booked this cruise back on May 6th of last year. This just happened to be exactly what I was ready for at that time. I wanted new ports and longer than one week and as if by magic, I happened upon you guys. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Seriously...what is upsetting you the most about the "trend in cruising"?

Deb it's This nickle and dime(ing) ...ala cart crap...with less and less service .....all the while doing away with the crusing traditions.. they are cutting out the chocolates on the pillows.. the food is beginning to suffer..it's just not the same value to us as it once was..I say all this to say .... the industry it's not there yet.. but if it keeps going in this direction.. I can no longer endorse it.... Deb does that make sense to you?

Yes....it makes alot of sense to me. I've only been cruising for 8 years now so I may not realize all the changes that you have. Though I have noticed the food quality and variety has dropped.

We've been cruising alot in the last 15 years and the cuts are very very noticable to us. We choose to spend our $$ a certain way but don't see us giving up on cruising just yet. Its the perfect vacation for us.........he does what he wants, and I do what I want but we share most of the day together.

I do see what your saying Joey but land vacations just don't work for us as Howie likes to lay around a lot more then I do, I'm always moving........
