The new passports seem much sturdier than the old ones. The inside cover and inside back cover have a raised design on it and the last page contains a warning that "this document contains sensitive electronics. For best performance do not bend, perforate or expose to extreme temperatures." So obviously there is a chip somewhere in there - I just don't know where. Also pages seems stronger than the old one. Each page, in addition to a picture contains a famous presidential quote. It's actually pretty nice.

Just got off the phone with my sister. She will come up a stay with Gramps. That's a good thing, now I won't have to duct tape Gramps to the door while we are gone! :rolleyes2:

Steve - I'm happy to hear that your sister will be able to come and visit with Gramps but probably not nearly as happy as Gramps is. I'm sure he didn't want to see you bringing out the duct tape again.
