cruisetarp
All these things sound very familiar. I think that these things are actually inborn in women. Howard - I believe it is hereditary. I know I got it from my mom.
deb1220
I'm starting to get some CLEARANCE catalogs that I've been taking a look at and every once in awhile if I see some good sales on capris or nice summer tops, I pick them up. My mother wasn't much of a bargain shopper. I don't know where I got it from
sailingrose
I've taught my DD to be a bargain hunter.......if it's not on sale we don't buy it!
lashl
MaryLou tell Jim he is not alone on the "Look how lmuch I save dyou today!"comment. Of course I love to hear the justification! I love bargains, if they are legit. I still belive in "You get what you pay for!" philosophy!
rogue
I love bargains, if they are legit. I still belive in "You get what you pay for!" philosophy! Usually, it's more like "She gets what I pay for"

PATJUD
I love bargains and I love shopping - Yep, fellow cruisers, I like to shop. There are some stores and shops that I frequent where I know the merchandise better than some of the sales clerks. However - that really isn't too difficult. So many sales clerks in shops are just busy standing at the cash register and really don't know much about customer service as in "the olden days" - LOL!! By the way - I have been thinking about what kind of cruising trip Louise and I might do next year and I have decided that it's time we abandoned the Caribbean and did a river cruise down the Rhine River ( most likely ) or the Danube for our first European adventure. Have any of you guys done either of those European river cruises?
cruisetarp
Judson - We have never done a European river cruise but they do look nice. We still have Alaska on our bucket list before we venture over to Europe. Still no shore excursions on Celebrity's site. What are they waiting for? Don't they know we want to book NOW. lol
sailingrose
Sorry Judson no help with the river cruise but it sounds great! I'm over the caribbean also but since we live so close to the Florida ports it's all we can do for now. It's going to get harder to go away starting next month when we have both offices to run full time. OK I have a question...... Does anyone just hire a cab in a port???? I'm always trying to save a buck and that's what we usually do unless you can only book it through the cruiseline. BTW you can only book the America's Cup Sailing in St. Martin through the cruiseline.
