deb1220
I, just now, typed "Antigua" in the Keyword Search and it came up with some excursions for Antigua....strangely enough THANKS ROSE AND HOWARD!!!
lashl
Wow! You go out and mow the lawn and you miss out on this cruise! MaryLou...Lynda and I have been to Antigua once. Went on some tour that went to old fort sites. Scenery was nice. Lynda liked it, I thought it was a little dull. Its a no brainer, no exercise type of a tour. I noticed everyone is into planning every stop. Maybe because only three islands will be new to us we are planning excursions on some islands and just "winging" it on others. We mid-westeners love our beach time! Good chair, cold drink, floatie, what else could you possibily want?
deb1220
Steve, I'm just going on excursions on the islands that I've never been to - St. Lucia, Barbados and Antigua. The rest I'm just "winging it" too
cruisetarp
We have been to St, Thomas and St. Maarten several times and Aruba once before. All the rest of the ports are new to us so besides meeting all my Crazie friends we are excited about seeing new places and doing new things. Steve - as far as hitting the beach in each port there is not enough Aloe in the Aloe factory in Aruba for the burn I would get doing that. I never tan, just burn on top of burn on top of burn. lol

Do want to do the yatch racing at St Marrten.

I probably will only do the St. Lucia tour and maybe one in St. Johns since we've only done the pirates there. I still plan on doing the Yacht racing with you guys in St. Maarten.....then pick up Howie from the ship and head to the Dutch side for some shopping and maybe some beach time. We'll see. cruisetarp
I asked Jim about St. Maarten and the yacht races - he did them before and really enjoyed them - but he said no this time. (He wants to make sure I don't go crazy in the jewelry stores while he's on the boat. lol)
deb1220
I'm not much of a beach person either. I burn so easily....even with sunscreen on. I've also got so many arthritis issues, I couldn't do the yacht racing even though it sounds like lots of fun. I would like to do some shopping in Philipsburg, St. Maarten. I've only been there once and we spent most of the time on a tour and in Marigot. Aruba and Curacao will probably be other shopping places for me. I've been to St. Thomas so many times, I'll probably just stay on the ship. So....those of you going on shopping trips at these ports, would you mind a tag-a-long? Gosh, this is getting exciting!!! cruisetarp
Thought you would all enjoy seeing the b'day cake Deb had a friend make for me. I think it was perfect!
