We have plans for St. Lucia and Antigua and I'll be doing the yacht racing in St. Maarten with the ship probably. Rest of ports are pretty free. Easy to shop in Aruba but lots of walking.

It's funny that I don't enjoy the beach anymore because when I was a kid we would go to the lake every weekend in the summer. Come to think of it, maybe that's why I don't enjoy it now.

You're right about all the walking in Aruba. I really want to walk around and shop in Philipsburg, though because when we were there last, I didn't get a chance. My other 2 "cruisin' buddies" had other plans.

(BTW....I'm finding these infolinks a little annoying.)

I hope you were talking about the "blue links" bec. that is what I just agreed with you about on the dock!!!...i was reading my e-mail notifications before I got on and I knew you had posted it about being annoyed, but I didn't pay attention to where you posted it!!! I'm doing the Yacht racing for sure in St. Maarten and then we'll head over to Philipsburg.

When are the ladies shopping?????

don't know where i can shop...just where I can't...places my Visa card gets busted! LOL

BTW, how much does the yacht racing cost?

Has anyone been to Curacao and if so, how is the shopping there? We'll have to find a place close by the ship with lots of shops to our shopping day and also a day when none of us have any tour plans. I do plan on taking the water taxi to Phillipsburg in St. Maarten - I love the shopping area there.

Hi MaryLou,

James here. I cannot find the message you sent yesterday. I did send you a short message in answer to the payment query. this was under "Messages" No we haven't been to Curacao before. But you and yours would be most welcome to join us on the sea taxi to Phillipsburg in St. Maarten. I also would like us all to meet at "Happy Hours" bar just steps from the ship for a huge selection of the best frozen Margaritas in the Caribbean! Say about 4 p.m. The ship doesn't leave until 6 p.m.

MaryLou...I have been to Curacao. There's a nice little shopping district there but it is a little walk from the ship. But, if I remember correctly, there aren't many shops there. They also have a "floating market" that's interesting to see.
