James I'm so sorry about the wrist. I certainly hope you don't have to cancel the trip. We are so looking forward to meeting you and Donna.

James - I am so sorry to hear about your accident and hope you are not too uncomfortable. I hope you and Donna will not have to cancel this cruise. I have been looking forward to meeting you.

Same here  I hope it's not too serious! I'm looking forward to meeting you and Donna and talking about the beautiful province you now live in.

Thank you so much everyone for your kind words and good wishes. I too still hope to join the cruise but everything we were planning to do will be so terribly restricted. From getting dressed to avoiding getting the cast wet in the sea. Eating too will be one handed -a thing I'm not used to. I don't like this situation at all because despite the insurance we took out for the cruise, we stand to lose a lot of money on our airfares and hotels. I will make a decision finally after I have seen the orthopedic surgeon next week.

Regards,

James.

So sorry to hear about your wrist. I hope things will work out.

I broke my arm one month before a planned cruise two years ago and had to cancel. We were very lucky with the trip insurance - we didn't loose a dime. Of course - the paid air was a future credit but that worked out for a later cruise.

With all this rain, at least I am getting my pre-cruise house cleaning done as well as some packing. All day time clothes are ironed, matched and packed. Only have the dinner clothes to do now and then the incidentals (power strip - camera chargers, phone charger, etc).

I also need to get CRAZIE packed. I think she has more clothes than I do. lol

James - I know it is difficult doing things one handed but you will have a lot of folks ready and willing to help you on the ship. Hope it won't be necessary for you to cancel
