We also would be interested into looking at private tours. Up to now, we've done all ship excursions, but we're ready to branch out. We did a private tour to the desert in Vegas, and that was one of the best tours we ever had.

Oh Claudio - what a fabulous gentleman!!

I agree private tours are WAY the best way to go. Obviously we need to find reputable tour guides, so come on guys lets start our research and see who we come up with and what they offer!!

We have found Spencer Ambrose tours on St. Lucia. This is his website. He comes highly recommended.

We are not particularly interested in "Trinket" shops, which a lot of the other tours take you to. He takes you to the many places on his website and is flexible. The beach/snorkel stop sounds wonderful. His price I believe is about $150 for the day whether you are only 2 people or 8 people. I will confirm this with him. He also supplies a cooler with water, sodas, beer and fruit punch included in the cost.

Tony and I are ready to book him as our tour guide that day - but wondered if any other couples would like to join us.

I have read the website and that is exactly the kind of tour that we like to take. I like to actually check out the island, where and how they live, how they earn a living, and the geography.

WE WILL BE INTERESTED IN BEING INCLUDED IN THIS TOUR OF ST LUCIA.
